I'd like to see Craig do the Tarzan yell in the next one. But not more than once.

How about the Tarzen yell as he swings on a rope across a chasm, BUT, as he does it, the whistle from the 360 TMWTGG car jump blares in the background, and as soon as he lands, he turns and finds the pigeon from MR that does a triple take.

    Needs more CGI icebergs.

Gun Barrel at the beginning would be at the top of my list. Also, I'd like to see what they can do with Ralph Fiennes as M. For the first time they have an M. who can really handle himself if the situation calls for it so there's good potential with that if they don't overdo it. Of course, I don't want M. to become Bond's sidekick, but maybe just one or two scenes where M. is forced to take action like he did in Skyfall.

I've just thought about it : a new Casino game to show. After baccarat (in many films), backgammon (in Octopussy if I'm right), 21(in TWINE or was it another one) and poker (CR), why not try a new one ?

Don't forget Sic Bo in TMWTGG and Blackjack in LTK.

Baccarat only actually features in GE.

Chemain de Fer is played in DN, TB, OHMSS and FYEO.

I'd like to see Yves Rossy's jet pack wing-suit used by Bond, in a tasteful way. Maybe weaponised? He could be chased by drones after being deployed into a hot zone.

That's about the level of fantasy I like to see in a Bond film... things on the bleeding edge of real technology. Little Nelly kind of stuff.

A wrote a scene with that wing-suit for my fan fiction, so I have to agree it would be great to see- especially with some quality cinematography to back it up.

A Bond girl that has to rip the bottom half of her fancy evening dress to run away from the badguys. Just because.

Didn't we already have that though with Pam Bouvier in the lift in LTK?

You bet we did. And that, my kids, is why the rewind and pause buttons exist today.

Yes, but not quite. In any case, it was a while ago.

I'd really like to see a pts that has no bearing on the main story , just Bond completing a previous misson such as from OP,MR,GF etc ,and we really need a comeback from the other bond theme not heard since MR boatchase , it was used in the last series of Top Gear UK when Clarkson was crossing Lake Garda on a Quad boat and it worked brilliantly.

Would love to hear "007" in a Bond film again. Now is the time to do it.

I hope my wish of the gunbarrel being in the beginning happens. Sam Mendes did want it in the beginning of Skyfall so hopefully he will do it for Bond 24

I think it will, and you r right i believe he did? But it was how Skyfall started with just a silohuette of Bond was the reason he didn't? Personally i thought they missed a trick as i thought it would have looked pretty cool coming out of the gun barrel!
  • A bit of proper espionage - not - they know my name so let's knock on the front door type thing.

Plus DC without the severe haircut.

Plus bond eating a curry or a bag of fish and chips.

Really not sure if this would work, as this is the kind of food Brits eat on a Friday night drunken. I love a good fish and chips though. I guess Bond did eat lots of garlic sausages with lots of beer in OHMSS.

Has anyone ever heard from anyone, not including those employed by EON, fan or otherwise, say that they prefer the Gunbarrel at the end? I doubt it.

Exactly. Some people have said they don't care about the gunbarrel and a few people have said they liked the opening shot of SF, but nobody has actually said that it's better at the end than at the start. On the other hand, loads of people are begging EON to please just put it back at the beginning.

Even if Mendes believed his own reasoning, put a little more effort into holding onto a tradition beloved by fans.

I agree. If he honestly thought the opening shot was better than the gunbarrel fair enough but I think, since it was the 50th anniversary, he should've considered what the fans would want. I know we make up a very small amount of the box office gross and if you pandered to fans all the time then the film would turn out crap, but Mendes is apparently a big fan himself, and I'm sure everyone involved knew that the reaction to the QOS gunbarrel was negative. So it would've been nice for him to have taken our opinions into account and put it at the start for traditions sake since it was the 50th anniversary.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually prefer it at the end.

I'm definitely in the minority because I prefer no gunbarrel at all. It's had its day, I'm afraid.

I really like this idea. It has been used very sparingly so far, and might I suggest, could even increase the possibility of finally showing CraigBond romancing the girl after completing a mission - albeit at the end of the PTS... That way we don't have to break the 'no Bond girl at end of film' pattern which CraigBond's run is so notorious for ;)

I've thought about this many times before, and believe it can be done. It's not so far-fetched to imagine- remember, the GE credit sequence had a gun barrel at both ends. Maybe someone could do up a fan video and see how it looks.

Actually, thinking about it, it could work. It would also bring something different and innovative to it. I could also see the gunbarrel sequence be part of the PTS, not like in CR but from the very beginning: Bond shoots the sniper, then cut to what happens afterwards.

I agree with the posts above, I'd like to see the gunbarrel at the end of the song or as an introduction to the PTS.

I've heard all of the excuses about the gun barrel sequence being at the end instead of the beginning and they are all absurd. The gun barrel sequence is way more valuable than the opening scene in skyfall. Removing the gun barrel sequence is like removing the opening credit sequence from a star wars movie, it may not ruin the movie itself, but it needs to be there. Bring it back Mendes!!!

I'd really like to see the gun barrel at the end of the song, in future- but having it back at the beginning is probably at the very top of my Bond24 wish list. Anticipation for the film skyrockets once you see those white dots and barrel scroll across the screen for the first time, and it doesn't have that same effect if the gun barrel is introduced at a later point. I think I subconsciously shovel in half a box of popcorn during the gun barrel scene alone!
