After work I'll watch one of the classic Bonds.
Dr No, seems to for the bill.

I would watch it when I get home from work as well, especially as it is it's 55years today that it was released, but when it finishes I would have missed about 25 mins of the England match.

I will have to decide when I get in and of course if the bleedin train isn't delayed.

You'd be surprised the amount of wear and tear that goes on out there in the field.

My intention to celebrate Mr Bond is to have a couple of very iced cold, vodka martinis with my wife, and scrambled eggs for dinner... Perhaps things will escalate, as they do with 007, and I'll make slow, yet cruel love to-

    okay, enough information...

    Happy JB Day!

What better way to celebrate Global James Bond day than by trying the saltwater solution Casino Royale puking method.

No, I wasn't poisoned, but I had massive heartburn from eating a chunk of apple too fast.

Well, I can say with 100% certainty that it works. I threw up twice. Once in the wastebasket immediately after drinking the mixture and another time ten minutes later all over myself and the kitchen floor.

    In conclusion:

To try it, mix three tablespoons of salt in warm water. Drink. It works - too well, I might add.
  • I'll jot that down and try it out next time I'm bored.

Thanks everyone that welcomed me back. It's good to be here with people that share the same cultural tastes than I do. :D

Another blast from the past! Great to see you, @X3MSonicX!

We didn't get any news today for James Bond Day, but seeing two old and familiar faces was quite the unpredicted reward.

It's great to see you too, Brady!

It's a shame we didn't get any news, tho I think that the B25 speculations will maybe start by this month (even tho it'll launch only by 2019. God, I'll be so old by then...)

Cool, leave a non-spoiler review for us, I'm enjoying reading everyone's thoughts on the film.

As it happens I'm also celebrating a promotion at work on this Global James Bond Day. And with a showing of the new film tomorrow, it's going to be a pretty good one!

    Where are you seeing it?

It's at an AMC just a minute away from my place - my brother and I have a nice night out together planned, with a good dinner, dessert and trip to the theater!

That sounds great! Tomorrow I’m seeing it with just one friend and then we have eight going on Thursday.

I'll have the theme songs playing in the background as I work (along with some selected soundtracks).

I'm always reminded that October 5th also marks the day that The Beatles released their first single ("Love Me Do") in the UK. Author John Higgs actually has a book due next October about the two.
