She’s an Aussie model who only has a few acting roles so far. She’s been in Orange Is the New Black, John Wick 2, The Meg, and a few more. She’s not a particularly good actress.

They could have done better, though it is the CW so she'll fit right in.

I read that she can't act, I own John Wick 2 and Resident Evil Final Chapter and don't remember her at all, no real impact there I guess.

I suppose it doesn’t help that she didn’t have any lines in John Wick 2. Her character was mute. Apparently her character was originally supposed to have some dialogue but the director scrapped it.

To be honest I have never been a fan of Batwoman I have never paid a great deal attention to her character beyond Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman animated movie. In looks Ruby Rose looks like a potential Catwoman... In looks.

Well, the Batwoman of the comics is very different to the one presented in the movie. Very different indeed.

    Three things about this

    1. I walked away from arrow in season 3 (due to them killing of the gorgeous Caity Lotz) I might catch up as I hear the shows are far better now then the lull of season 3 is this true because the first two seasons were fantastic

    2. The fact that Batman will not appear at all in batwoman the tv show pisses me off if we can have two supermen we can have two Batmen to be honest and hell since she was introduced when Dick Grayson was Batman why not have Dick Be Batman for the tv shows and Bruce for the films

    3. I haven’t seen he actress in anything but I will check out Meg and give my view hen though if they don’t have her and caity lotz hook up I will be pissed as it makes sense for purely plot reasons and not at all because I wanna see hem make out lol

Zazie Beetz, who played Domino in the recent ''Deadpool 2'', is confirmed to join the cast of Joker, alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Robert De Niro.

Not only Phoenix, but also De Niro? Either those two are losing it, or this is going to be special.

Both good and bad news, as I like Zimmer's DC music but I also really liked Rupert Gregson-Williams' score for Wonder Woman.

    F*** yes!

Gregson-Williams definitely did a great job with the first, but I don’t think I will ever be upset to hear Zimmer is going to be scoring a film.

Part of me is actually hoping that he forgoes the more traditional superhero score route and treats this film more like one of Nolan’s films (like Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk). Those have a very unique sounds that add so much to the overall experience.

I'm expecting lots of percussion and lots of electronica, ala his score for Inferno. Because, 80s.

Hildur Guðnadóttir, the composer of 'Sicario: Day of the Soldado', will do the soundtrack for The Joker.

I liked what he did for Sicario 2. It wasn't quite up to the standards of Johannsson imho, but it was reasonably spooky. I think he could do a good job.

Thanks for letting me know @CraigMooreOHMSS. There aren't enough female composers out there in my view, but assumption is the mother of all f ups..

@bondjames Another piece of news you'll enjoy: Alec Baldwin has been cast as Thomas Wayne in The Joker, alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Robert DeNiro.

Will this be part of DCEU?

Also, casting Alec Baldwin as Thomas Wayne is a great idea, considering he previously played The Shadow, a character that was a huge inspiration for the creation of Batman. Very fitting, in my opinion.

I don't think so. It's moderately budgeted, and takes place in the 80's.

I wish it took place in the 1940s.

Me too. He's great in everything. This announced cast is impressive and I'm curious to see what Phoenix does with this role. He can be quite unhinged when he needs to be and is a fantastic actor.

The concept I am or was inially against though some serious world class actors change things.

Baldwin is a god love him in The Shadow, he would have been a great Batman so happy he is playing his father.

I hope other Batman villains are referenced/shown. Riddler, Penguin, even Superman's Toyman. A trip to Metropolis, anyone?
