    Been busy for the second half of the week and not super active on the forum, but appreciate all the comments. I feel that everyone deserves at least one suit that really suits them (excuse the pun). I felt like a different person wearing it (in a good way) and felt like garbage to have to take it off, as it simply makes you feel taller, mightier, more assured, etc. Perhaps that's Bond's influence on me too? Regardless, I think I would've fit in well during a time when people actually dressed up every day as part of their natural lives even outside of work, instead of in ratty jeans and a t-shirt. ;)

    @Thunderpussy, ugh, that was my childhood and school days in a nutshell. Simply a rush of moments carrying from one to the other through my teens to young adulthood, punctuated with somebody making a Brady Bunch pun out of my name, or worse, singing the theme song to me in a teasing tone. Your post really brought back a lot of PTSD related trauma, and I think I'll need to book a therapy session for next week to deal with it now. ;)

    Bad advice to tell a kid. No matter what task you're doing, there will always be another kid who is betterest at it than you. Sets up a poor sense of expectation for a kid, where they are too focused on being gooder than their classmates to learn anything.

    Taken at my recent birthday celebrations. I'm on the left, gamely getting my Dalton on despite a slight disadvantage in the height department. And looking pretty sharp for someone who'd been drinking since 3pm.
