@QBranch, or see him throw a grenade like that. There's intent behind it, but with how he throws things so carelessly, it would look awesome.

@Thunderfinger, that's it! Totally forgot about that, thank you.

Yep, it would look awesome- just as long as he knows where he's throwing it, though...

Now I'm picturing the PTS sort of like TLD or GE, with Craig in black grab infiltrating a facility or base of some sorts. He's spotted, enters a large room, and casually tosses a grenade before pulling up an assault rifle and taking down his enemies.

If only he could throw a quip like he throws all that other stuff.

Creasy, he throws away the car keys in CR.

He also throws Mollaka's gun back at him on top of the crane in a rather awesome manner.

I would be curious to know what Raoul Silva's age is meant to be? He said he was an agent in Hong Kong from 86-97. Javier bardem was 42 when he done Skyfall but his character seems like he should be in his mid-late 50's.

I've got another question for the Ocean Club security feed:

Why are the times on the cellphone and on the camera the same? Shouldn't the cellphone be eight hours ahead or whatever the difference is since it's Mollaka's phone, and the Bahamas and Madagascar are most certainly NOT in the same time zone?

It should be a seven hour difference, so it's either:

A.) A goof of sorts, just to help the audience follow along, or...
B.) Mollaka was working on the Nassau time zone, as he was initially the one hired to do the job.

Does anyone know how long it took Bond and Tatiana to travel from Istanbul to the Yugoslav-Italian border, aboard the Orient Express in "FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE"?

When he pretends to be a parking attendant, after he crashes the car of the German(?) tourist.

    One of favorite Craig moments.

In OHMSS, Bond throws his hat to Moneypenny. Wouldn't it have made sense for Bond to not wear one in the DAF gun barrel?
I mean I'm sure he can have more than one damn hat, but it would have at least given us a much needed new Connery gun barrel sequence

Why? The Connery gun barrel was pretty great.

Seriously- the man practically falls over! Maybe you're thinking of the Bob Simmons one, which was indeed awesome

The Bob Simmons one was even better.

Connery's is like trying to watch a giraffe balance on a tightrope - simply awful.

I would pay to see a giraffe balance on a tightrope. It would be a youtube hit.

Now this is a SUPER minor gripe, in fact not even a gripe just an OCD moment of mine.

In the title sequence for Casino Royale, the shot of the 7 of hearts getting two bullet holes is match faded into "007 status confirmed" on a computer screen. But wouldn't it say "00 status" without the 7? I mean that's what Dryden refers to it as in the PTS. Obviously the reason they did that is so they could do the matching shots so I guess the question is already answered but I was wondering if anyone else thought about this.

You know I figured it out. Most cellphones (although I don't know about old shitty flipphones like Mollaka's) adjust time zones automatically when you cross the line. I think. I've never actually taken my cellphone into another timezone yet.

@StirredNotShaken, neither have I, but given the level that technology is at now, I'm sure I could see it doing something like this. I'm not sure about eight years ago, but it's plausible.

I have an iPhone 5 and travel around a fair bit. The time does not automatically update when you cross time-zones.

Thank you for that. Hmm, I'm not sure what it could've been then.

It is either lazy scriptwriting or meant to not confuse the audience. Which it clearly has anyway. Good observation.

Apologies if this has been asked, and answered, before but who delivers to Bond the upside down Queen of Cups in LALD and why?

I don't believe it ever really says. I would guess it was Solitaire or Quarrel Jr., though my money would be on the former, foretelling that Rosie was a double agent.

I was always under the impression that it was Solitaire, since she was sort of on the fence about her employment with Kananga after meeting Bond in New York. I literally just thought of this, having never given this small detail much thought, but in context, it makes sense- why else would Solitaire be hesitant and nervous when Kananga confronts her about the misreading of her vision (regarding Rosie's death) if she hadn't planned for it to happen by ratting out Rosie in the first place?

@00Beast, that is true. I really don't see someone like Felix doing that, and upon second thought, it doesn't seem like something Quarrel Jr. would do. Plus, Solitaire is the woman with the cards, so it would have to have been her that sent it.

Precisely! Only Solitaire would know about the superstitious upside-down position of the card, unless Quarrel Jr. or Felix were also experts on voodoo, which I highly doubt, hahaha.

On the other hand, Bond does notice the pack of cards in the store, which I suppose alludes to someone else who could've purchased them, found out what they meant, and sent it to him. Seems to be a bit of a stretch, though, so I still say that it's Solitaire.

It could have been Baron Samedi since he left his hat in Bond's hotel room.
