That’s the Scotsman swagger. Effortless. Just natural. ;)

Definitely a much more flattering look at him in the film compared to the one @Torgeirtrap posted days ago, which I just noticed. Answers my question, as I had always assumed Connery was nude in that scene.

    Yep, (oil) Fields

I'm always reminded of how much she was underused in QoS.
And Barbara said she regretted killing the character off. Come to think of it, Fields could’ve been a really great companion and a Moneypenny type in the up and coming films. Heck, ‘Fields’ could’ve been just a cover name and she could’ve been revealed as Loelia Ponsonby. I’d have loved that.

    Too late now.

    Unless she has a twin sister,Raspberry Fields ? ;)

Or her other twin sister, Blueberry Fields. The opportunities are many!

I'm holding out for a cousin, Miss Lane. Penny Lane.

Assumed that, too. Instead he's wearing that, haha!

I cant see it on this PC..is it the full scene with CraigBond as well ?
I have probably seen it ,but I am going a little senile lately.
Mainly due to too much red meat and white bread, too many dry martinis.

It's the complete scene, which includes the part with the cricket match, leading up to, and including the fight in the toilets. Too many martinis? The way Arsenal's been this season, that's totally understandable.

No problem! This is the only video I've seen that includes the cricket match bit. For all I know, other versions may exist too.

All the CASINO ROYALE deleted scenes were released on the DELUXE EDITION of the movie.

The hospital scene goes on for far too long. However, the moment where Bond tries to grab the scissors is inspired!

The fact that didn't make it into the film is shocking. I love the impulsiveness of Bond in Cr. He's so idealistic, almost to a fault.

It's a shame that element of Bond's character was so subdued in Craig's later films. I want that fiery intensity back. Craig was so unpredictable in CR.

I want Craig's hair to be more as it was in CR too...its been too short in the last 2 Bond's for me.

Agree. He was perfect in CR, to the degree that anything Craig Bond that follows can't match it. Both the film itself, his hair, his suits (although QoS may be just as good in that specific department), etc.

Don't forget that split second shot from the first trailer of someone tearing a playing card in half, too.

    Le Chiffre.

At first, I thought it was Bond, but when I noticed his clothes (dress shirt with French cuffs and tan dress pants), I recognized the outfit to be Le Chiffre's from the scene where he met Dimitrios on the yacht in Bahamas.

A slightly different version of this promotional photo from CASINO ROYALE, has been released today in the official @007 Instagram.

The other and more cool with short hair version, was released a couple of months later that year when they were in Prague shooting the movie.

Wouldn't mind seeing Craig with longer hair for Bond 25, although it would probably suit him better if he was a little younger (a bit of grey could go along way too).

Agreed! You know, I love Craig in Spectre, finally portraying Bond in a traditional way-- cool, funny and in control-- but I'd be almost willing to give that up if it meant having more of CR Bond's "fiery intensity" and unpredictability. In a way, I almost think Bond shouldn't have "evolved" after CR-- he shouldn't have become "the Bond we know and love." Maybe he should've continued to play him in the same style, considering Daniel Craig made it work fantastically well in that first film.

Craig isn't cut for the Bond we all know and love imho. That's not his game. I agree that he should have continued to play it like he did in CR/QoS. Unlike the others he has regressed the longer he has been in the role imho. He peaked in the 00s.
