Merry Christmas Everybody! As is customary in Germany, our main celebration was already on Christmas Eve. Roast goose with potato dumplings, red cabbage and chestnuts, not to mention a couple of bottles of 2009 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. Enjoy yours as well!

It'd be a sort of Moonraker 2 by the looks of it. That was my favourite Bond film as a kid and I still have a great fondness for it.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Below is a reference I stumbled across recently - although I'd seen the illustration of golden gun assembly before, I didn't realize there was a Christmas version - the discovery was timed well.

I feel like TMWTGG the movie should have a Christmas reference in there, but happily, at least we can pick out several lines of dialogue suitable for using while unwrapping gifts, such as:

    "Ohhh, a surprise!"
    "Phuyuck?"
    "A water pistol?"
    "Give me that!"
    "Charming trinket."
    "Nick Nack, Tabasco!"
    "Where's the Solex?"
"Instead of getting our hands on a perfected Solex, we're left with a useless corpse and no leads."

Or replying to those unwrapping your gift:

    "I admit, it's a little kinky."

Bond coming for Christmas. It'd be great to see that kind of advertising again - oh, about every two years or so.
