With an effective majority of the votes, Pierce Brosnan is the perfect Bond for Thunderball. Strange to see Connery getting only one vote, but at least he beat Dalton.

    And now

Which Bond would you rather see in You Only Live Twice?

    For YOLT:

    George Lazenby-1
    Timothy Dalton-2

Would love to see Dalton disguise himself as a Japanese. He is the tallest of the bunch. If we imagine Pleasence is still Blofeld, he would reach up to his waist.

    Daniel Craig.

As Connery gave a more "reserved" performance, I could see Craig taking his place in this one. I'd love to see him in the fight scenes, for sure. Plus, since Craig is the shortest Bond, he might blend in better as a Japanese fisherman - if you could get him to wear the wig!

    This!

Craig's normal hairstyle mirrors that Japanese disguise anyway. They'd just have to dye it that's all.

David Niven. Only to see them try turn him in a Japanese. Would be far more fun then CR '67.

    @Thunderfinger, here's something...

Which Bond would you rather see in every Bond film?
    Pierce Brosnan. ;)

Not a single vote for Connery (that s a first), Moore or Brosnan.

It is a tie between George Lazenby and Daniel Craig (also a first).

Next out, next down, next up!

Which Bond would you rather see in OHMSS?

Connery. I would have liked to have seen a more vulnerable side to him. Unfortunately, if they had made the film with him, it probably wouldn't have been the same film at all.

Would probably be harder to ignore that he and Blofeld had met before.

Then I'll go with Jamie Bell.

Or Roger Moore. Take your pick.

Timothy Dalton in his TLD/LTK years (yet the film is set in 1969, OHMSS that is) would've been perfect for it.

    No doubt here, Timothy Dalton.
  • Pierce Brosnan here. He could do it.

I'd actually like to see how Moore, circa 1969, would handle it. Imagine if his tenure started here. How would the rest of it play out?
