Yes, but this is for upcoming games, not ones we've played already. Besides, I could use an excuse to start a new thread.

I think it'll be more efficient, and very helpful.

What will be? The new thread?

Assassin's Creed 3 new city gameplay.

The running/free running looks much more realistic than the other games.

Assassin's Creed III looks very good. I'm sure this along with other games, will have to be bought later this year.

Yes, because it will be one place to go to for achievement questions, and we can actually assist each other as well.

Pre order Bonuses for South Park: The Stick Of Truth. I don't normally bother with pre orders but I might just have to for this game.

Are they making another SP game? I didn't even know that show was still going. I remeber having the 3 games released for the N64, must be at least 10 years ago now. From what I remember, they were:

    - South Park (fps)
    - Chef's Love Shack (a quiz game)
    - South Park Rally (self explanitory)

The new game is a parody of fantasy games like Skyrim, etc called The Stick Of Truth, I posted the trailer a page or two back. I remember the n64 fps. It was ok, but not great.

The show is still going, stronger (and funnier) than ever. The animation has really improved since it first started.

Some more Lollipop Chainsaw reviews are in:

    Cheat Code Central - 4.2/5
    http://www.cheatcc.com/ps3/rev/lollipopchainsawreview.html

    Digital Chumps - 8/10
    http://digitalchumps.com/game-reviews/35-ps3/9329-lollipop-chainsaw.html

    Game Informer - 7.5/10

    PSX Extreme - 7.9/10
    http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-reviews/597.html

While the scores vary, they all say the same: though it's dumb and short, it's also very fun with a reasonable ammount of replay value (unlockables).

If you find it, give me a heads up. The game just will not be the same without Ironside's likeness within, and that truly kills it for me. But, I suppose I have to still give it a shot for the good parts in the game, because I'm doing the same for Hitman: Absolution, after they ditched David Bateson as 47. It's really going to take me out of the game.

But that isn't the same as Ironside being Sam Fisher, which is what we're talking about.

I dont really care. i gave up on 4 because the frame rate was choppy and 5 never came to ps3 so i dont care who voices sam fisher.
i'll prob try 4 again some time. if i got a hd collection vol 2 i would prob get right back into it.
Assassins creed 3 really seems to have upped the engine i cant wait to play that. im still not sure what watchdogs is all about tbh, looks great though

Yeah, I pretty much stopped caring after they made Splinter Cell purely Microsoft exclusive. Yeah, I know it came to Xbox first so Microsoft is SC's home. But still, give playstation gamers a taste and then stop feeding them. We never got to see the conclusion to the daughter storyline.

forget splinter cell, whens the next damn batman game due. and i dont mean lego. i heard dark knight rises got canceled but with the news that expendables has just got rated(the game that is) it makes me think batman could still be ready to go for that autumn release. they might just be keeping trailers and such back untill the films had a good months run so no spoilers happen.
i recall ea apparantly lost 100 million due to the failure to get a game out for dark knight.
i know arkham asylum and city are pretty good but you know i got time for more batman. id rather a new batman game came every year than every 3. much like bond. sure give me a few filler games till i get to the main course of the arkham game. or create new ways to play as batman that are good or not quite right but push the development of arkham.
splinter cell....i just dont care so muich its only ever a filler for bond or batman. sorry if that offends anyone out there. i used to think splinter cell was a pinicale of ninja game play but since they decided to screw around with the releases, and chop and change tghe game till its no longer splintercell 1 i dont really care so much.

on another note just saw this

    <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hdmZUVpaJjA?version=3&hl=en_GB"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hdmZUVpaJjA?version=3&hl=en_GB"; type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
now i know hitman hd collections coming, these are tried and tested so its a good game. now untill absolution comes and lives up to those games i think this is prehaps the best looking release for this year.

    <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CgSHqjwFcd8?version=3&hl=en_GB"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CgSHqjwFcd8?version=3&hl=en_GB"; type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
also this trailer slid by me thought i better share it

Wow. I cannot believe I woke up to such excellent news.

Finally, 'Thief 4' footage has appeared, and it seems to be a 30-second leak that wasn't meant for the public. I played the previous one a loooong time ago, and I remember it being a beautiful, ancient game where you robbed large villas and mansions for goods, using things like water arrows to shoot out lanterns (for more darkness) and caused noises to distract guards. That was some fun stealth, if I ever saw any:

Also, a follow up to the award-winning XBLA and PSN game 'Limbo' is coming:

:O And it's made by Ubisoft! I can already tell this will be awesome. I really hope they get Stallone, Arny and all the others to do the voices.

I hope it's a third person shooter though, if it's FPS chances are it'll just be Call Of Duty.

I did, but I had to watch playthroughs on YouTube.

Yeah, playthroughs on YouTube or Wikipedia walkthroughs are always nice to read up on for a game you'll never get to play. They're really entertaining, too, especially with a good commentary. I found a guy the other night who was trying out the new BF3 DLC, and I enjoyed the high-res gameplay and his commentary.

I remember watching a walkthrough of the great PS1 game Hogs of War. After you capture all 25 islands (the point of the game), you get to play as the enemy's team, which is completely maxed out, and take them all back. Now that was fun! Very funny too, utter annihilation.

Random nostalgic moment over - as much as I love them.

I remember watching the Uncharted 2 walkthrough before I got a ps3. It was like watching a film, but with funny commentary during the bits without dialouge.

Same demo as I posted before, but this one has an extended bit with multiplayer gameplay (skip to around 6:00 for multiplayer).

Does AC really need multiplayer? I stopped playing after AC2, and it seemed like more of a gimmick than a necessity to me. It seems like there are a bunch of series out there that come out with their own thing, it works really well and is highly entertaining, and then it either completely changes for the worst, or adds multiplayer for no reason.

Also, here are some trailers for 'God of War: Ascension':

    http://www.ps3trophies.org/news/news-6987-God-of-War--Ascension-Trailers-Are-Delightfully-Brutal.html

One more thing that I forgot to post the other day: Rockstar has found a new way to deal with cheaters and hackers on 'Max Payne 3': they have created a 'Cheater's Pool', and if you are found cheating or hacking the game online, they will throw you into a version of the online that allows you to only play with other people who have cheated. When this happens, it is already slightly unlikely that you will ever be able to join the non-cheaters again, but, if you are caught hacking and cheating a second time, you will be banned for good:

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/13/max-payne-3-makes-cheaters-fight-each-other

It's a very cool idea, and I wish more developers would follow in the footsteps of this, but I don't think there should be any sort of warning. They should trace who you are upon the first instance of any type of cheating, and ban you for good.
