    From TWINE

"The report Sir Robert bought was stolen from an MI6 agent who was killed for it. I want to know who killed him?"

Who killed the mi6 agent? Was it Renard? Was it one of Elektra men? Who?

Cigar lady? I am trying to remember if the novelization by Benson had any additional info on this.

In FYEO did they dub Julian Glovers voice? Or did Glover just do a Greek accent for the film?

    Probably her.

If theres any golf players out there maybe you can answer this question. In Goldfinger Bond was about to swing and hit his ball, but Goldfinger says "strict rules of golf". What was Bond doing wrong?

Nothing. Goldfinger was trying to put Bond off his swing. Trying to cheat...unsuccessfully.

Could be Goldfinger try to get back at Bond for throwing the gold bar down and distracting him from his putt

It's bad form to speak while a player is in the process of hitting the ball. just like Bond dropping the gold bar on the green was bad form in that it distracted from Goldfinger's putt.

Got done watching Diamonds are forever. how does Bond know every detail of what happened to plenty o tool's murder in diamonds? it almost seems like he did it. I see on a review on YouTube that it's a major plot hole.

Its simple really. Bond knew Tiffany was the next link in the pipe line and he wanted to get to Tiffanys place before the killers did. Unfortunately Bond got there after they did but the killers mistakenly killed Plenty thinking it was Tiffany.

They cut the scene that would have made this whole sequence make more sense. Even with it in the film I think it would have been a plot hole as I fail to see how Wint and Kidd could mistake Tiffany for Plenty.

But I don't think DAF holds up well to inspection on many levels.

Can't say I remember exactly, but didn't Plenty (in the deleted scenes, which I don't care to review just for this post) wear one of Tiffany's wigs or something? Either way, you're right...not much of this movie actually makes sense...but it is a hell of a lot of fun for the dialogue.

The deleted scene shows Plenty peeking into Tiffany's purse and finding out her address. Course why would she go to Tiffany's? Was she plotting to do her harm?

I love the dialogue of DAF!

Okay I have a question. In TB Bond reports for the mission briefing and is clearly wearing a Blue suit and tie. He appears very tanned as well. Then the next scene when M wants to send him to Station C Canada he's wearing a brown suit and tie and doesn't look as tanned to my eye.

Is this a continuity error? Or did M wait a day to dispatch his agents around the globe? Hence Bond wearing the different colour suit?

Second TB question...Why would SPECTRE give NATO 7 days to pay them off? To my mind the shorter the window the greater likelihood for success for SPECTRE. You are basically giving the NATO countries lots of time to find the bombs.

It is, of course, but I was wondering if there was a poster with that Lazenby photo... ?

I've watched the finger scene so many times and can't see the CGI trick.

When Bond starts to lick the first finger, you can see that two of Vesper's fingers drop from the scene subtly. But his mouth isn't contorted or changed in anyway and they can't fake it with editing as it's done in one-take.

Anyone know where the seem is here?

There is no seam. It's not CGI.

No, it definitely is. They mention it in the commentary.

@PropertyOfALady , I had no idea about that. They did a fine job. Whoa.

"34. When Bond finds Vesper huddled in the shower, he sits next to her to comfort her. This was shot with a single take to capture the emotion of the scene. Bond kisses and gently sucks on her fingers, which was meant to be comforting and soothing. However, in the actual take, he sucks on all four of her fingers, which Campbell felt gave it a creepy “fetish quality.” The visual effects department was able to remove two of the finger sucks to make it less creepy."

Well I'll be damned. That is a seamless piece of editing, in a scene that could've easily been re-shot.

They'd need time to get the "cashing in" operation up.

Well, I did know the reports that Craig couldn't 'drive stick' were baloney. They used more than two Aston Martins for CR, though. A handful, I believe (like for QOS). I mean, they wrote-off one or two for the crazy barrel-roll stunt, which was pulled off by, well, effectively launching it with explosive (forgive me, the correct terminology there escapes me right now ;) ).

As for #24 in that list, the two freaky-deaky poker-playing 'bodies' were supposed to be from a Bodyworlds exhibit (the baby of the eccentric Gunther von Hagens) in Miami, which I believe was fictional. The exhibit's been all over the world, though; I went to it a few years before CR was made when it was in London. It was a genuinely nauseating experience; mildly nauseating, that is. A curious if weirdly fascinating thing.

Indeed. In reality, Eva Green only has two fingers on that hand. In every shot in which that hand appears in the film - and, indeed, in every one of her films - a full hand of fingers was CGI-ed. True story. It's an expensive business casting Eva Green.

All right, not really; I can't back that up. Would be good, though, wouldn't it? ;)

I have seen that exhibit. The one here in The Couv anyway. I suppose they are not all the same. But I agree.... it was fascinating and then a bit off-putting to say the least.

This is the last shot where Eva Green's actual third finger can be seen. Soon after it is erased by CGI. You see it move out of the frame, but it's actually a CGI trick

    casino-royale-movie-screencaps.com-9914.jpg?strip=all

I think in this shot, the second finger is also CGI. Craig must have sucked/kissed two fingers at once and they digitally made it appear as if it was one

    casino-royale-movie-screencaps.com-9919.jpg?strip=all

    casino-royale-movie-screencaps.com-9925.jpg?strip=all

He he sucked more than one and with the help of the hand placement and some CGI, they have made it appear as if it's one.

I'm kinda obsessed with subtle CGI and visual effects tricks in films.

I think in the commentary, they say he sucked all of them, but they thought it was too creepy afterwards.
