Just broke up with my girlfriend (over eight years). It was long overdue, but I’m feeling sad and empty. Anyone want to come over and watch a Bond film?

Shit thats never good,no matter if it was due or not...sorry to hear that matey..stick on your favourite Bond and have a stiff drink.

If it had to be done,it had to be done.
  • Geez, sorry to hear, @Birdleson. I’m in rehearsal til 10pm. That’s probably too late for a movie tonight, but let’s do something soon.
  • Sounds good, just sent you a message.

Sorry to hear it, @Birdleson. It isn t the end of the world. But a sense of gloom is natural, at least for a while.

Sad to hear that, my Bond film recommendation would be "Casino Royale" if you want to grieve a bit more or "For Your Eyes Only" if you want to cure your pain with some good romance.

The ending of Moonraker is also suitable reading material--my condolences!

I just saw Herb Alpert and Lani Hall at the San Jose Hazz Festival. Last time I saw them they played THE LOOK OF LOVE from CR ‘67, which they did again, and NSNA, which they did not do this time. What was new, for me, was an instrumental version of the CR ‘67 Main Titles Theme, which Alpert had played on, with that great movie poster projected behind him on a giant screen.

    That sounds fantastic!

I'm dogsitting a Jack Russell this weekend.

She bought two tickets months ago but various people couldn't go. I felt bad since this was sort of a birthday present for her since it was this past Tuesday. I'll enjoy what I can.

    Condolences are still much appreciated.

Being brutally honest. It ended up being a good show. From a performance viewpoint more than musical
