The man with the golden gun
That was the second one I had in mind, for myself.

Maybe it's just that the ones in the upper tiers of the favorites list draw you into discussion and the ones at the bottom do too but the two or three in the most middling area are easier to gloss over.

I’d say NSNA doesn’t get discussed anywhere near as much as other Bond films.

Maybe the film as s whole doesn't get disgusted very often, but @bondjames and I have been championing it as Moore's best performance (and one of the best Bond performances period) for years.
That's true, and you've both actually made me come around to that. I don't think I'd ever have pulled that out of the film on my own. One of the reasons I enjoy these forums so much! And perhaps why some of the less-mentioned films (if indeed there are) deserve a bit more mining.

Yes it's true, I'm a huge fan of Moore as Bond in TMWTGG. I recommend those who may have ignored the film in the past (I'm sure there are many) to revisit it with an eye on his performance in particular. It's a great blend of everything one expects from James Bond. Deadly charm.

Regarding LALD, I agree. I think that could very well be the film which is least discussed on this forum. It's surprising in a way, because arguably it could be considered quite controversial. FYEO is another one. I've also noticed that both of these films tend to sit just outside a lot of member's top 10. Usually in the 11 to 15 mark. Almost like they are appreciated but uncontroversial for the most part.

It has recently cracked my top 10, where I think it will stay for some time. Great fun.

LALD is Top 10 for me, has been for a long time. In fact I was pretty surprised to realize just a few years ago that so many here flat out don't care for it, or at least have it way down on their ranking. I had always assumed it was a classic of Moore's.

I think it’s the most fun bond film, very enjoyable. It started near the bottom for me but gets better every time

The man with the golden gun

Yes, that's the one I had in mind too. The source novel could also be added to the list.

I've always been curious about just how many times James Bond has used the words, "Bond. James Bond." Excluding the .5/interrupted time in GF, here is what I counted (with the help of this site: https://www.springfieldspringfield.co.uk/). Yes, I am that much of a Bond nerd. Please someone correct me if I am wrong:

    DN - 1
    GF - 1
    OHMSS - 2
    DAF - 1
    LALD - 1
    TMWTGG - 3
    TSWLM - 1
    MR - 1
    FYEO - 2
    OP - 1
    AVTAK - 2
    TLD - 1
    LTK - 1
    GE - 1
    TND - 1
    TWINE - 2
    DAD - 1
    CR - 1
    SF - 1
    SP - 1

Total: 26. 3 for Connery, 2 for Lazenby, 11 for Moore, 2 for Dalton, 5 for Brosnan, and 3 for Craig. The only films without the use of the line are: FRWL, TB, YOLT, and QOS.

It wasn't in many of the original Bond novels either as I recall.

FoxRox's post reminded me that I'd looked this up earlier and forgot to post it for those of you who haven't seen these and like this. Some of the numbers don't match up on both pages--anyone have a better source?
--A list of Bond kill counts and ways they were killed; this one only goes up to Skyfall:
    http://time.com/james-bond-spectre-007-deadliest/
--Tallies of Bond's kills and others' kills in each movie:

This Bond total kill count (through SP) is from a page here on our site under "Vital Stats"
    https://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/vital-stats-james-bond-killcount?id=04167

    ACTOR - KILLS
    Sean Connery - 82
    George Lazenby - 8
    Roger Moore - 65
    Timothy Dalton - 14
    Pierce Brosnan - 73
    Daniel Craig - 75

--And this is good! Comprehensive stats in different categories:
