People throwing garbage on the streets, often right next to a garbage can.

Yes, I agree. I hate people who are OK with landfills and waste. They say it is too hard to recycle. I hate that. And littering. Even as a rebellious teen I never littered. I didn't understand the logic in littering or making the planet a worse place to live.

You hardly ever see it in the countryside. Just the cities.

Why is it when you are checking in at the airport the queue takes forever? But when you get to the desk you are done in two minutes.

Why does it take all the people front of you so long?

You could add BMW drivers to that too. Shamefully Bond used to drive one of those too.

Yeah BMW drivers used to be the biggest knobheads on the roads. But I think Audi drivers now hold that accolade....!

Most people work very hard for very little, and a few people do little work for very much. We have the power to make the world a fairer place, that's not to be scoffed at.

'Fairer' is subjective though, I suppose.

I knew a fellow who was an ex-miner and a raving socialist. He banged on (in the pub) about how unfair the world was and a few grew richer whilst the majority suffered on the breadline. And how it should be more equal, and wealth should be re-distributed to the poor, etc.

Anyways, his Aunt died and left him a few grand. And this great ambassador for the poor went out and bought himself a convertible sports car.

    It certainly is.

My sister in-law is 60, has never worked her entire life. Has had 5 children all paid for by the benefits system, has a brand spanking new two bedroom council flat, apparently suffers from chronic arthritis and is on disability money yet manages to walk around Bluewater shopping centre every week and last year managed to travel to the Bahamas for her son's wedding.....

Most true. Churchill certainly had a way with words.

People who say they're bored (especially teenagers)

You have instant access to a world of information, history, music, cinema, television at your fingertips. More TV channels than you can count and can download any song from over 60 years of music in seconds....how can you be bored?!!!!

Can someone European explain to me their train timetables?

Every city you go in Europe they don't put the destination and a list of times like normal people. No what they do is just put a long list of all the times trains depart and you have to search through every single one till you find the place you want to go to. Why??

As bizarre as it is f**king annoying.

Thank Christ for Brexit so they can't foist this lunacy on us.

    What, this one?
    http://www.mi6community.com/index.php?p=/discussion/16678/the-film-crimes-of-tom-rothman-and-other-so-called-film-moghuls#latest

Usually mods will explain why they closed a thread, but I guess the mod in this instance felt (rightly) that no explanation was necessary. However, for the purpose of closure we have threads where you can add general comments, or humorous comments (this one is an example I suppose), but we can't really see why your post actually needed to have a new thread all it's own. What were you aiming to achieve? What discussion were you hoping the post would generate? Add an explanation about your thread before you add your little playlet (is that the right word?)

We don't want to grind your gears that's for sure, so if you think you have an idea for a genuinely pro-active discussion or debate then check the search box at the top to see if the idea has been done before, and if it hasn't then away you go.
