Wait, Dalton is winning for OP? I'm shocked! How is this even possible? OP has humour.

@bondjames I would never have any other than Moore in OP, but for the sake of @Thunderfinger's game, I replace each actor with the polar opposite (Dalton for OP, Dalton for MR, Brosnan in DN, Moore in FRWL).

@DaltonCraig007, that makes sense now. I've been noting your choices throughout and was confused on occasion but I get it now.

For an older Bond, I like to see what Sir Sean could have done in AVTAK.

Connery's Bond would've hit Stacey a bit too hard I think, just out of sheer annoyance, and I'm not quite sure he'd have the patience to make a guiche, nor do I think he'd sleep with MayDay, hence altering the film big time. Brosnan could've done it but his lighter touch would perhaps let this film float away completely. Dalton is a bit too serious for this film allthough him opposite Walken does sound cool. Daniel Craig wouldn't work, same as Lazenby. They'd tear those stables down before finding Stacey. And anyway they might be scared away by her screaming as well, just to protect their ears. No, the only one beeing gentileman enough, and at the same time detached enough to enter May Day's bed is David Niven.

Now, now. I just think he would be the best fit with the film as is.

George Lazenby would have been great for A View To A Kill.

I could imagine him jumping over the castle gate as it pulls up in the night.
