    Quite frankly, I think all he needs is a cap and he'll look like a chauffeur. Maybe that is the point (I've not read the script).

    In my honest opinion, I think this last look is the best so far we've seen from Craig in SP. In fact, I find it hard to find fault with it (I love the boots, but maybe they're a bit too much but then again, I don't think they will actually be visible). The suit fits well, I love the fact that he is wearing a 3-piece again. From a female perspective, I think Craig looks bloody hot ;)

    I'm not so keen on the. 'You don't do this dont do that'. Fashions change. My mate works for a very successful fashion label he wears tight suits , with trousers about 3 Inches above his £800 leopard skin winkle pickers. Ok it's not Bond but my point is fashion allows for individuality. Otherwise we'd be using the same wardrobe as in Dr no.

    I though Craig looked great in SF. Particularly the light grey cloth. Reminded me of early Connery.

    That said the lapels in this latest shot are a trifle large for my taste.

    I get that vibe as well. Mostly the color combo though I think.

    I think it's a fantastic look, probably the best I've seen in all of the films. Then again, maybe I'm easily influenced, since my main source of fashion comes from James Bond. :D

    In terms of collars, PL seems Bondian in a rigid way.

    Also, I'm keen on the tight fit. Nice way to show physique. Suits that seem too big seem to make Bond look too large, and generally look old fashioned IMO.

    I wear black leather gloves. :) I think Craig looks very stylish here despite the fact that I don't like suits with double pockets, the kind of lapels that he has and the boots with the chrome buckles. Is this the first time Bond has worn a pocket square in this triangular fashion? This is too fancy for the Bond in the books. It's not his style. I prefer to just sport the thin strip too. Not into waist coats either. I think they are a bit on the camp side. Is the suit navy blue or black?

    I think the tight fit very much suits Craig. The style now makes Bond almost look like a homeless person in a suit in Casino Royale. LOL.

    "Suits are pretty drab and dull things and are often associated with businessmen or anyone with 9-5 jobs. Bond therefore has a slight chore in trying to stay a cut above and elevating the suit and making it look glamourous."

    I don't agree. A good suit can look pretty elegant, interesting and swanky. People's idea of what is smart and interesting looking these days is laughable.

    I haven't either, but there was a picture of him wearing a chauffeur cap and sunglasses. I assumed he was impersonating a chauffeur for a scene. Not in spoiler tags since that's just a guess on my part based on the pictures.

    You are on the money. IVNSHO (In Villiers53's Not So Humble Opinion) this looks to be Tom Ford again and he's come up with a miss match of styling faux pas - peak lapels, oversized straight pocket flaps with ticket pocket, collar pin, garish pocket square all bundled up in an ill fitting package that makes our hero look like he is trying way too hard.
    And double monk strap boots with a suit - for God's sake, who came up with that one?
    Frankly this is disappointing in the extreme.

    I am not into men fashion, but I tend to believe, they know, what they are doing. From a "I just judge what I see" point of view, it looks fine and not miss matched. But its a certain style, that some like and others don't.

    Correct me if I am wrong but this is presumably the same suit that he was wearing at the funeral scene?

    The only thing that really bugs me about his attire here is the peak lapels. I've never been a fan of the look.

    Maybe there are "fashion rules" against this or that, but I tend to agree with @matt007 and @Germanlady - who cares what people declare to be the thing to do or not to do? Isn't creativity all about finding new ways? I would think that a professional costume designer and a high-end label designer know what they are doing. This is the look they want, and personally I think @doubleoego is right: it's a perfect look for a sexy hitman (or funeral guest).

    This is much more important than "fashion rules" - Bond should have no connection with fashion but should personify completely the understated STYLE of an international English gentleman and I don't subscribe at all to the view that a supposed professional costume designer working with a seller of over priced mass merchandise have the monopoly on taste. These pictures would prove otherwise.
    Just google "Bill Nighy wearing blue suit" and hopefully you will see the understated taste of a true Brit!

    I like the overall style from what I've seen so far. I really liked the winter coat look in Rome, even though the coat is perhaps a bit too long. It may be on purpose to make Daniel look taller.

    The suit on the other hand has a few more obvious flaws.

    The jacket is too short for a two buttons suit. That length would've only worked with a double-breasted suit like the one he wore on the photocall. The trousers are also a little short, revealing too much of the boot.

    The overall style looks good, but the tailoring seems a little off, surprisingly for a Bond film.

    Is this Oscar material? We still haven't seen anything about Mexico or Morocco that are going to be brilliant (no doubt) and thinking that the "technical" awards will have a Star Wars-size competitor...

    I am not that much of an expert either, but I do think the suits look more like fashion (current or not) than style. The cuts neither look really good, nor do they give the impression of being comfortable to wear. Which is all the weirder because Craig is one of those Bonds who really has no gut to shoot buttons with.

    I know that I'm in the minority but I'm not a fan of the aviator style sunglasses seen in the last two outings. I absolutely love these sunglasses.

    For 50 + years Bond has been making errors when it comes to the dos and don't of apparel and you think a few faceless nobodies is going to facilitate a change in doing things "properly"? Nope!
