    How about the gunbarrel in the middle of the movie? Just kidding.

    Would love to have it integral to the PTS narrative and plot.

    I would love it if Bond 24 just cut to black right in the middle of the film and the gun barrel flashed for just a few seconds, enough to anger the fans that give a crap about the thing.

    I would prefer the PTS at the beginning too, but don't make an obsession of it.

    I'd prefer the gun barrel at the beginning (since when did tradition become a crime?), but that is among the lesser of my gripes with the current films.

    I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I can assure you that the scene in SOLO is more gruesome than anything we've ever seen in a Bond screen.

    To me? No. I'd say it was more...sadistic. Though I need to give Octopussy a rewatch one of these days. It's been a good year or two since I last saw it.

    In CR, Kratt used a balisong to cut a hole in the seat of Bond's torture chair and take out the tracking device in his arm. In SF, Silva had the dueling pistols.

    Not exactly like CR. I was thinking more at the very beginning, thus as usual, but then it becomes part of the narrative: the camera does a travelling and you see the dead sniper, Bond walking casually towards him, or something.

    Regarding the exotic weapon, apart from Silva's pistols we had Obanno using a machete. But a navaja or a scimitar would be cool.

    11.Litte rectification: instead of robert richardson( who will certainly make the hateful eight for tarantino when bond 24 will be shot ) i'd see emmanuel lubezki or janusz kaminski or claudio miranda for the photography after all.
    12.And bring back adele for the title song.
    13.And always want to see 007 to be confronted to a villainess who would be his equal ( maria freudenstein anyone ? ) cate blanchett, charlize theron , or angelina jolie would be perfect !

    I agree. I've mentioned before a quick line and explanation to Q wouldn't go a miss. It could be by him just offering Bond tea and taken from there. He can mention the fall of the Empire and what have you.
