Just so long as they don't try to sell me an empty box for £7.99. I'd rather have Bond and Kara in the cello case.

Glad to see the laser truck on the list.

I hope Locque's Mercedes is displayed on a cliff edge with a plastic Roger about to kick it over the edge. That would be epic. And I don't use the word epic much. :)

I'd really like to see the car Tim drives around in Key West in LTK, you know, the one he just leaves at the front of the airport when he's about to leave after the wedding.

VAZ-2106 is the police car involved in the tank chase.

I know its the James Bond CAR collection but I've loved some of the more quirky models such as the Parahawk, the Dragon tank and the Q boat so how about maybe a few more? The wetbike in TSWLM,the Eurocopter Tiger in GE,Hugo Drax's spaceshuttle ,Erichs Yamaha 500xt with machine guns in FYEO and as a special the Bell Rocket Belt from TB(All of which had much more importance than the Ford GT40 and many others). Am I the only person thinking 150 is a nice round number?

I think they've scraped enough barrels to get us to 110. Throw in a few more bikes eg the BSA from TB and the BMW from TND. How about the Stealth Boat and the Disco Volante or the chopper from FRWL? I wouldn't mind the DB5's from GE and CR, but please no more Range/Land Rovers or any other blink and you'll miss it cars.

Numbers 108 and 109 have just arrived. The Ford Econoline and the Impala. Both are pleasantly heavy to hold. Included was the letter promising more vehicles, but NOT how many! It says there were "countless requests" for more models.

Fingers crossed for Tim's "Florida Keys hire car" and the Kenworth tanker cab from LTK...

Oh no. They haven't told us how many...

I'm still waiting for 106 and 107. Should be any day now....

I received 108 & 109 today... together with that bloody letter! Fabbri are just taking the Arthur Bliss now. What they should have said was they have had "countless requests" from their shareholders to "bleed those suckers dry". When the collection first started they stated that it would end at something like 43 issues. There was never any mention of it being extended. Nevertheless, they extended it... and extended it... and extended it. Eventually they said that it would DEFINITELY end with issue 110. Now they've completely reneged on that promise and once again the collection is open-ended. Will it end at 130? 200? 500? They know damn well that any subscribers who have stuck with it thus far aren't going to cancel their subscription at this late stage.

    G. E. Fabbri bring a whole new meaning to the term "Bond villains".

I have to agree with the above. You could see over the years of collecting either they thought throw in a few duds to keep the collection going or they run out of ideas. It would of been nice if they asked the subscribers for a top 10 left after 110 and then pick 10 most popular. Then send 1 a month untill new film release next year, do the film tie in cars and then leave it alone. This will carry on for a few years yet as they can do cars that bond parked next to. Bikes that Bond used, Other modes of transport including the inflatable jacket bond used in WINE and the Chelo case. Like most other collectors space is getting harder to come by and the different size boxes do not help. But like most collectors i will still have to collect them. And some of the models in my opinion are better quality than the Corgi models.

Received the Impala today. But I presume that Fabbri's letter was sent to the subscribers outside the plastic bag, unlike the one found in issue 100, because I didn't get it.

Quantum and Largo, I know where you're coming from. It's true that sometimes, I had wished that they didn't include some models and instead concentrate on more important (to me) cars. Did we really, for example, need the Ford Consul, anecdotic at best, while the more important, storywise, Locque's Mercedes was absent? So, I too am ambivalent about this new extension. On the one hand, there's the fact that I will (hopefully) get the cars I wish for. On the other hand, it means more money spent for that (and with dental bills coming soon, and glasses needing to be changed, I need all the money I can get), and the fact taht place is running thin in my one-piece flat.

Still, I will continue the collection till the end. And hope that there are no more lemons included (insert Finn McMissile joke here).

Some good choices there such as the car Roger has to drive from the back seat and the flower truck. But do we really need so many taxis?

Great, so that must mean 135 issues now. Good, God I need it to stop soon.

    Not bad car choices, mind.

Got the damaged DBS today. Not much to say except that a) still no figures, b) the certainly went lazy with the diorama (myself, I would have put it in Sienna at the end of the pre-title sequence).

And it's as official as can be: Next model will be Largo's Thunderbird. Again, apart from a few differences, not much work involved with this one as well.

Even if there are too many, some of the models in this collection are extremely good value for money. The American cars (Econoline, Impala, Bronco, Squire Wagon) plus the ambulances and hearses are made by Ixo, and if you bought these models in Ixo's own packaging, they would cost £25 - £30 each. At £7.99 they are a bargain.

Ixo produces the models for several partworks, and they almost always later release the same models under their own brand name, sometimes with slightly better detailing, but at a much higher price. The Ixo models are the ones in non-standard boxes, always without figures, and screw onto the base using a plug with two prongs.

The other models, including all the early ones that had figures and good dioramas, were made by Universal Hobbies. These were attached to the base by a square lug on the model's underside that plugged into square slot. Universal Hobbies seems to sell very few of these models under their own brand name. Some of their models are more basic in quality than the Ixo ones and seem to be made down to a price, but the dioramas were often excellent.

Finally got 106, 107 and 109 in. Issue 108 is delayed so I'm told. You can never win.

Got issue 111 last week. Next one will be Yip's Mercedes for TMWTGG, a movie famous for having the most incompetent assistants in the whole saga. BTW, nothing much to say about the TBird (except that you can play spot the differences easily with it and the one from GF). On the other hand, the Mercedes was on my list. Hope the diorama will be the karate girls scene.

Received 110 and 111 today. At least the battered Aston Martin plays a significant part in QOS. Largo's Ford Thunderbird from TB on the other hand must clock up all of about 10 seconds screen time. Likewise the next so-called "Bond car", Hip's Mercedes from so-called "Bond film" TMWTGG, is another blink-and-you'll-miss-it vehicle. I dread to think what issue 200 will be. A Morris Minor parked three streets away from where a fleeting shot from DAF that actually ended up on the cutting room floor was filmed perhaps?

Also got issues 110 and 111 today. No sign of the corrected car fom Dr No but I'm not too fussed about that. It's been over two months since my last delivery and it feels like it.
