I also got 110 and 111 the other day. I was a bit surprised that no figures were included, given that both models were made by Universal Hobbies. The Thunderbird was a pretty good model, but really needed a figure of Largo in it. I can't say I cared much for the 'battle damaged' Aston Martin, though.

Maybe the battered AM's started out as a batch of pristine AM's that fell off a pallet at the warehouse and Fabbri thought, "Waste not, want not". :-D

This series of magazines and cars have been a real collectors dream. The models must cost a pretty penny to create.

Keep them safe and I'm sure years from now they'll be worth a lot more.

Received this week the Mercedes 200 from TMWTGG. From what I've heard, it'"s a rare car. Not many models of this Mercedes have been produced with a right side steering-wheel.

Anyway, one can, once again, regret the absence of figures. There hasn't been any since issue 100. And that's a shame. Even if, in this case, we miss the second most incompetant assistant in the movie (not waiting until Bond has stepped into the car before driving away, leaving him at the mercy of the karatekas, that's dumb).

Is that issue 112 @Gerard? If so, any idea what 113 is?

I take it, the collection still ends at 130...

howdy all! the next issue is the VAZ 2106 police car in Goldeneye from the tank chase. Where did the info come from saying the series finished at 130?

Well, it was supposed to end at 110, but Fabbri added twenty more cars (including quite a few I wanted, a few I'm interested in, and as usual, a few lemons. This new list pushes the total number to 130. However, I doubt that it will end at 130. Let's not forget that Skyfall is on the horizon, and we'll certainly see some of the cars in this movie included in the collection, plus some other cars I'd like to see, and a few other lemons. I can see it going to 140, maybe 150.

Thanks @RogueAgent for the confirmation of the next issue.

At this rate, they could scrape this to Bond 24 if it arrives in 2014. I'm serious, it's a worry!

It's right on the preceding page of this topic. Have a look and tell us what you think.

thank you, certainly some interesting ones their. was hoping to the digger from Casino Royale and Hellers APC/Tank from licence to kill. But? Can't help but feel that there will be more like the Swat van from Licence to Kill. You can bet there will be the new Range Rover and Jaguar from SkyFall too!

The cars will be running up and beyond Skyfall's release, so they can get there money worth out of us collectors.

i fear you maybe right there! cannot believe the bus from live and let die is not on the list! Now that is a classic which featured far more in a film than some of the other models
  • Posts: 5,821
Well, it was on the list a while back, but there were concerns that it could remind people of the 7/7 bombings, and so it was scraped.

BTW, I recently went to london, and my hotel was on Upper Woburn Place, just a short walk from where it exploded. Ironically, there's a statue of Gandhi in the park on Tavistock Square. Life has a sense of humour I'm not sure I like.

That is a little sinister i must say. with regards to the bus? it could have been the complete bus on a smaller scale like they did for the moonbuggy?

112 and 113 finally arrived, the merc and the Russian police car. 114 is the London taxi from octopussy.

Yeah, I got 112 and 113 today too. They're such underwhelming vehicles and played such insignificant roles in their respective movies that frankly if it didn't state which films they were from on their cases and magazines I would have been hard pressed to guess! As for the next car being a bog-standard London black cab as found in every tacky London gift shop simply because it appeared oh so fleetingly in OP...

The barral is now being scrapped...

I should get mine soon too, with any luck.

it is getting worse, the list that i saw was pretty grim as i was trying to work out when you see them. the bus, hellers tank, tanker trucks from CR and LTK are what i would like. not cameo cars!
There are still cars that interest me in that list. Locque's Mercedes (hopefully before the fall), the Dodge Ambulance (with laser) and the koreans' Mercedes from GF, Necros's Milkfloat, FRWL's flower truck. As for playing insignificant roles, we saw the Ziguli quite a lot during the tank chase in St. Petersburg.

For the moment, I haven't received issue 113 yet. Let's hope it's not stuck by the big strike.

When they extend the collection yet again we can look forward to a flattened Russian police car from goldeneye. It'll be cheap to produce, just an oil smear on the diorama base.

lol! hopefully that will be a £3.99 issue! lol! out of curiosity? do most people collect their models via mail order direct from Fabbri? i see all these posts about delays? Yet i order mine through my local newsagent and they arrive on time all the time when they are due?

I get mine direct from Fabbri and seem to receive them on the same day as most other subscribers in the UK. Of course, with the erratic way they're coming out these days it's nigh on impossible to guess when they're going to show up and subsequently whether they're early, late or bang on time.

I use aé UIK-based seller, given that the series has stopped in France with issue 84. But yes, there were delays when I was a suscriber. Once, I even received four cars on the same day. But there were other incidents too: the door of my mailbox being blocked by the packages, for example (too often to count). Once, the deliverer (not the postal service) opened the packet, put the issues and the binder (with the bill) inside my mailbox, and threw away the packet ! Chris Clark, my sller, at least use packets that don't block the mailbox door.

gonna count myself lucky then so far! i do ask myself that if there was such an outcry from collectors when this collection was due to finish at 110! why didnt they poll us for what models we would like them to have included? Looking at the list of whats to come? i wish on there website there could be a rocommendation section? im sure we could all fill it! lol

Please please please no more 5second screen time cars, this company knows how to milk it!! Thing is they know there are people out there like me that will keep going. Keep your fingers crossed that come march 2013 that will be it. By then we should have all Skyfalls cars and done about 3 grand in money. And lots of us would of had an extention built onto our homes to show off the cars.

lol! very true Largo2! But? If you look at the provisional list for the cars up to 130? None of the cars from SkyFall are featured? Plus we do not know if the villains have cars too? Also what car could be chasing the DB5? I am in the same boat as you as i want the complete set too. What annoys me as i have stated before is that there are more recognisable and popular models out there still not done?

I have no idea when I got them but issue 111 and 112 arrived long ago - at least I think those were the issues! Should be getting my delayed 108 soon.

Come March 2013, you're right @RogueAgent this better end!

As much as i am looking forward to SkyFall? I am gonna cry and cringe at how many cars i see that are in it for split seconds of the movie no matter what country Bond is in? lol! :(( =))

LOL, yeah very good point! I dread to think how many cars we'll have from the new film. By the way, Skyfall is with a lower case 'f'.
