Let's do Lazenby's best next. I sense It will be a tough choice(sorry for the sarcasm).

Spy narrowly wins from FYEO when deciding which film brought us Roger's best performance.
I enjoyed the Moore round. It's interesting that every film except for LALD got at least a vote and TSWLM won by a plurality rather than a majority. It was a nice change from the usual landslides.

As for Trench, I vote for DN

Dr. No is my choice for the reason she gave James Bond, his catchphrase.

I'd say DN for Sylvia Trench, only because she had some more purpose and screen time.

Dr No without a doubt. I think her character would have jumped the shark if she came back for Goldfinger.

It goes to show you how consistantly good and professional Moore was. He never pulled a bored by-the-numbers performance like Connery did in YOLT. As long as Moore was being paid Moore was giving it his all.

Difficult one, he was very good in both films. OK, by a coin toss; Casino Royale.

I actually like him better in QOS. Cool moments with his colleague and I love the bar scene.

QoS for me. Why you ask? Well, I do love Felix in Cr, where he majorly saves Bond's arse when Vesper won't refill the till. But In QoS Felix has more to show than to just invest money to Bond. At the start(when he's with Beam) you don't know for sure If he is the good brother of Langley a la CR, or scum like Beam. Thoughts go through your head: Why is he working alongside such bad company? Why is he near Greene? What will he do when Bond enters the picture? These questions amp up to Felix and Bond's meeting, where Felix shows his true colors as a true ally to Bond and gives him Greene's location. We then find that Felix gets promoted and Beam gets.....I dunno, but I hope he's in a place where he'll finally shut the hell up for once. Anyway, QoS developed Felix more as an already established character and I love the waning feelings you feel with his allegiance until the end of the film.

Indeed. Even if by AVTAK he was really pushing it and the editing between him and the stuntmen was unintentionally funny.

As for this round, I vote for Casino Royale.

I'll go with CR as well. Too much Felix has never been too good, I find his presence in CR to be quite entertaining.

I vote CR. A more entertaining and lively perofrmance for me.

I found him a tad dull in QOS (bored on the sofa at the party, slumped in his CIA headquarters, slouched on the plane and in the bar etc). Jack Lord would have been dancing on the table and necking back the shots with Bond if he had the chance! ;-)

I'm not sure. The scenes with Leiter in CR are entertaining, but we see him more in QoS - although, when we do, it's never anything exciting. I'll go with QoS on this. The airplane scene isn't that bad, nor is the office/bar scene with him. So great how they raid the bar, Bond escapes, Leiter downs his beer and walks out.

    QoS for me.

I'm a Quantum of Solacer. As @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 has already mentioned, I really like how they put Felix in between the villains and the good guys. The bar scene wins me over.

    QOS

CR..the way he was losing during the poker game and passed it all over to Bond etc were good scenes.

It was pretty cool how Bond was becoming more and more agitated that Le Chiffre was getting farther and farther away, only for Leiter to let him know who he is and what he can do for him.

I'd say Quantum of Solace, actually. I enjoyed the moments bewteen him and Gregg Beam, where we can clearly see that Felix has no intention of playing the henchman in Beam's shady dealings. Also, I like the bar scene where Felix helps Bond out even though the stakes are high.

Quantum Of Solace. We got to see more of how Bond and Felix may work together. With this friendship now in place I hope this is continued in Bond 23.
  • I liked him in both but Im going to have to go with Quantum of Solace.

CR. He keeps Bond from doing something stupid and is kind enough to spot Bond the extra $5M.

Quantum of solace. though it's a difficult one I love the scenes between him and craig a tad more in Quantum of Solace
"You know Felix you should just answer CIA a cab man told me where your office was"
"really James if it was so easy to find maybe you should stop by"

    loved that exchange
