@Risico007, you and I both. Or when they meet in the bar and Bond knows he's been setup. Something like:

"Why, because I knew you wouldn't come alone? How long have I got?"
    "Thirty seconds."

Probably 'Goldeneye'. Not much of comic relief in that one.

I vote GE too. I thought Robbie's moments in TWINE balanced between good and utterly ridiculous, storywise that is, with more tendency towards the latter. His constant yelling at Bull, his redundant action scenes at the caviar factory and that whole foolish 'oh no I'm drowning in caviar!' thing... ugh! Then there's the nephew plot, silly as hell. He got two great lines, "BondJamesBond! Meet Nina, and Verousjka." and "I'm looking for a submarine. It's big and black and the driver is a very good friend of mine.", and a wonderful moment when he helps Bond right before dying, but apart from that, utter rubbish. In GE, he's far more believable as a Russian Mobster and far more serious too. His lecture about the Kozacs is just wonderful. Perfectly written and perfectly delivered. I love his face when he shrugs and remarks "I have six!", then drinks while Bond corrects him. Superb!

I have to say TWINE. The man gives his life to save Bond when Elektra has him in a 'tight' spot. A sad scene to boot.
  • Im going with TWINE. I just think he has better chemistry with Bond in that one.

@Virage, Zukovsky helps Bond meet Janus. That's something big.

TWINE. Despite the caviar bath and heliblades, Zukovsky still helps Bond get out of a seemingly inescapable situation.

No question GE, he was valuable in the flick and made sense.

Love your appreciation for this era of Bond cinema, DC007!

I vote for TMWTGG. I love the "You're that secret agent! That English secret agent from England!" line.

Sorry, but I haven't laughed so much in my life every time I hear "Did you ever think of getting a driver's license, boy?!"

"Layman On The Bayou" would've been a great title for it.
