Also asking when someone was born is clearly spam. You can easily look up the birthdate of Jack Lowden.
He was shown as scared, depressed and vulnerable. That wasnt shallow. All that range came from within. Honestly I dont see any other actor with such wide range and depth a mile away
Another point most "experts" forget: A major breakthrough movie needs a relatively unknown cast. Otherwise, you wont see the characters but the actors. Can you imagine Gladiator played by Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt? No, and why? Because you would be non stop comparing it with his previous roles. Thats why when you watch Gladiator you only see Gladiator
I see a lot of people here talking about Henry Cavill. Although I like his work, and he was great as Superman and The Witcher, he has too much baggage already, and Cavill has a fraction of the range of Fern. Henry Cavill would be at his very best the second coming of Pierce Brosnan
The 007 Franchise is down not because they dropped a bomb on James Bond. The moment they put a small frail comedian as the Ultimate Villain Boss, a cheap copycat from Bastard Inglorious to money trap the masses I knew James Bond was done. James Bond was never about the masses! That was so horrible that made Skyfall looks good
We need to bring back Casino Royale. Possibly the team as well, at least partially. Casino Royale was Perfection. Quantum of Solace was ok. Skyfall could have been great if wasnt for that unnecessary Queer of a Villain with that fake hair and mommy issues. And that deformed face cliche was terrible (OFC they had to repeat that in Spectre). But Hans Landa was "The Sum of All Fears". Hans Landa takes the cake. That was my worst Nightmare. And I knew they would do it
In the lowest moment of my life, when I lost literally everything and I mean everything, I watched Casino Royale and that was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The scene when he got his Aston Martin I promised to myself "I will fight to the end of my forces to be like him". Thats how much James Bond means to me.

Welcome, great first post! :-bd
I wouldn't expect any surprises. I think they're going to do what they said they were going to do.
It's barely perceptible, but Brosnan actually wore a hint of stubble in GE, maybe the later ones too. The makeup person apparently thought it 'took the edge off' his slightly improbable good looks.
Yes, I did notice that. Two o'clock shadow, I call it.
He'll get taller ? Bulkier ? People can bulk up, but it doesn't work as well for a shorter person and he cannot get taller.
He is 6’1’….
He doesn’t look over six foot does he?
He’d be a fine Bond, I’m not sure I see him in a DV Bond film though(?)
And what was that photo of a guy shaving a fake XVIII Century beard??? That was the fakest thing I have ever seen in a long long time. I could deal with a $3 dollar bill. And JB are always shaved anyway so whats the point???
I checked most of the names you guys hinted and they all gave me NPC vibes. Come on guys help me out. The only one I saw that X Factor is Cody Fern. Yes he is Australian but I bet he has a British grandmom and he looks more British than 99% of people walking in the streets of London so he is good
Agreed. Lowden feels like he'd be best served by a director with a lighter touch. I've only seen him in Slow Horses, though.
Nolan saw something in Harry Styles, that's faulty logic.
The prominence of their roles were greatly different; your assessment of my logic is faulty… 😉
Not to mention he's totally wrong for the role.
Yeah, I think he'd struggle to make an impact as Bond. Not saying he's a bad actor by any means, but for this role I think the lead needs to be a bigger screen presence.
I don't see much Bond in him, acting aside.
No, because the actor needs to get in shape for the Bond role. They'll most likely adjust the Beatles' filming schedule. I don't think he'll be in every scene of all four films.
Calm down. Futurism is prone to be done under a dark cloud, my friend. And you're under one.
It'll be like in the theatre, where it's always some sort of mess that works out perfectly fine in the end ;)
