I was browsing through the 007 store and saw this James Bond Cars book by Assouline. Looks very nice, but I need to know if the Alfa Romeo from OP gets discussed, because I would find it a disappointing buy if it isn't... (Alfista here, obviously :p )

Anyone here who knows that? :)

Cool story, didn't know about its history.

And it looks like a fun little car. I have seen one around town a few times (light blue, looks really cool).

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers manual cars.

on that subject, I was wondering: he claims the paddles should be on the steering column, not fixed to the steering wheel. Why is that?

Here's one for traditional petrolheads...which also deliveres certain Bond vibes, somehow.

Easier driving as they are always in the same position. If you mount them to the wheel, you can find yourself having to shift with your other hand on the other side of the wheel during cornering.
