Anyone follow any youtube car channels? Or whatever they're called...
Or some other sites?
It's where you go to get your classic car serviced/sold/stored, but it's also basically a free museum - you can just walk in and check out whatever's on display.
Here are the two cars I most wanted to take home: a Citroën DS in orange, and of course the Aston Martin Volante (please excuse the stupid face I pull for photos).
What car do you own, @CommanderRoss?
A fellow alfista, then. Great!
I've only had a Mito Quadrifoglio verde, alfa rosso with camel leather seats. A small Ferrari that stole my heart. I still get emotional when I see it pass by, with its small turbinated engine growl.
Hahaha yes I think anyone who's ever owned an Alfa, no matter which type, has the same emotions.
We all feel we're driving the 33 Stradale ;)
I know I did ;) That, or an 8c.
Sticking to our Bond universe, I'll take the Disco Volante...
Or the newer iteration:
DBS 5234/R: the car that was used in OHMSS for exterior shots. So happy to see that it's in mint condition!
DBS 5109/R : the car that was used in OHMSS for studio shots.
In sky blue, I'd say this is the most beautiful car ever made.
(Together with the DB5 that is ;) )
The most beautiful car ever made is the AM Vantage built from 2005-2017.
Followed by the Ferrari 456GT and the Lamborghini Miura.
Well...apart from that 33 Stradale. Here are some contenders, IMO:
Even if I would look at that car for 24 hours straight, I'd still not be tired.
Oh man, do you know how many hours I've spent in that site? It's addictive as hell. A place where dreams go to live...and some go to die.
The 300SL is a true beauty. Always loved Sir. Moss's Merc too.
Yes, an Aurelia. Maybe a B24 from 1955 or around that. A beautiful car, isn't it? Made famous by the Dino Risi cult film "Il Sorpasso" in 1962.
I’m one of those people who always makes lists of things and talking about cars, these brands will always be my favourites:
2. Alfa Romeo
3. Aston Martin
These four brands haven’t only made beautiful cars, they’ve made art. Quite glad I, for once, wasn’t the one to bring up Lancia ;)
Porn is not allowed here, I know, but can we please make an exception...
The AM workshop today...
