Because Kirk did the finger-guns pointing at Rand with a big ol' smile and said, "Yeoman Rand ! DON'T...go changing yeahhhhh"

So the time came and went. No harm no foul for Mr. Brosnan.
I think all-female theatre productions are interesting and valid creative endeavours (the CR musical was certainly... interesting 🐬) and stories can and should transform and evolve due to time, place and audience.
But I don't think anyone is seriously suggesting it'll happen or even wanting Amazon to do it, so I don't see it as that big of deal. And if come 2035 there's a flurry of female James Bond stories and that's not your cup of tea, that's perfectly valid, you don't have to engage with it. The original stories and performances with the male actors will still be there to enjoy (barring any catastrophes).
That's true. And it really doesn't take much to make a headline or a story when it comes to the James Bond films.
@MSL49 , I think your Craig dislike has clouded your logic. You do realize his Bond was blown to smithereens almost half a decade ago, right? Your worst nightmare of him coming back as Zombie-Bond, or Bond in any form isn't going to happen.
I swear, some of you anti-Craig people are softer than a jelly-donut.
Time to get over your Daniel Craig obsession.
Ha, forgot about that! I've always that when Bond's in public domain in most countries (not just Japan and Canada) this is the sort of stuff we'll get. Not competing films but stage adaptations - some a bit more on the 'avant garde' side like this.
Jesus @peter you're making me feel old with that one XD. I don't know why but it doesn't not feel like it's been that long since he left the role. Feels like NTTD only came out yesterday still...
It does surprise me how long it was sometimes though, agreed.
😂 @007ClassicBondFan ... "a lot's changed in the world since you moved on" Classic BondFan..!
That line will be even more appropriate when Bond 26 finally hits theaters!
