She Hulk Episode 2 the last line of the episode is pretty much what I thought about this
    '...that sucks'.

Marvel really are phoning it in at this point, I think I was too kind regarding Episode 1.

    Hmm.
I liked Episode 2. Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky was really good and now I'm waiting for more :)

Thunderbolts cast was underwhelming, we have seen all the Z list Marvel characters previously.

I think that a little bit too.
I expected Abomination and Zemo in the squad. But well, maybe they'll be the bad guys in Thunderbolts.

    Zemo would have been good.

With a release scheduled for November 2024, when can we expect more news about the Fantastic Four reboot?

Here's what @MaxCasino was referring to:

Just watched it as it was a random recommended video of mine. Genuinely thought it was a fun joke at first, then was very disappointed when it appeared to be true. Am I the only one that is sick and tired of the constant nostalgia baiting that is happening everywhere now in entertainment? Studios bringing back old actors playing their old characters in some desperate attempt to get audience interest because nothing new they are doing is worth seeing outside of it?

The fan fiction that was NWH was worse enough (as was the obnoxious way it was applauded), but then we've got Hugh coming back as Wolverine after giving such a powerful end to his story in Logan. And it'll be in a film that is mostly played for laughs and won't have the edge and darkness that makes his character what he is, so I honestly just don't see the point of any of it. Especially since there is going to be another Wolverine cast at some point in the mainline MCU, in which case are we just to assume this Deadpool is the same one as the first two films and he is in an alternate universe from the MCU universe we know? Which begs the question of if this Wolverine is the same Wolverine from the old Fox films, which will be confusing enough because the Deadpool of that universe (as seen in Wolverine Origins) isn't the same as the one from the solo films that this Wolverine will be appearing in. None of this stuff ever ends up making much sense, and how they've doubled down on the multiverse idea without making sure the writers from all the shows and films are on the same board and adhering to core storytelling rules has made it all end up being a gigantic mess of inconsistencies.

To be fair, @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, Deadpool has always been meta in the extreme. The fact that Hugh is returning for what will likely amount to be a commentary on the absurdity of it all is what will ensure his presence will not taint the ending he gave the character in Logan.

I would say though; the Deadpool of Origins isn't the Deadpool of that universe. They erased that film from the timeline when they made Days Of Future Past and Apocalypse. The Deadpool of the most recent two films fits in there much nicer, and now he's in the MCU all of a sudden and, yeah.

It just goes to show how messy the entire endeavour is. But when it comes to Deadpool, that just gives them more material to work with. I view the films like those hilarious outtakes you see at the end of a Jackie Chan movie.

Yes, I think it's possible that he'll be playing 'Hugh Jackman' as much as he's playing Wolverine in it!

I’ve read several comments that express concern that this will “taint” what was accomplished in “Logan”. I don’t think it will at all; “Logan takes place in the future, this film will take place in the present. I don’t see the problem. I’m also thrilled to see Jackman back as Wolverine.

With the R-rating, hopefully they can get away with a lot and make it worth while. Still find it to be a bit of an eye-roller, though. Waiting to see how long it takes them to re-animate Tony's corpse and de-age Cap while they're at it at this point. Literally anything goes now, and that's a double-edged sword.

I'd still take that over most of the tripe that phase 4 is putting out.

Yes, I would say the MCU isn’t in a golden age right now, cinematically.

LOGAN sucked anyway, so it’s not like they’ll “taint” anything.

Logan was great IMO, I am all for a Deadpool and Wolverine team up, with all the multiverse shenanigans going on in the MCU, timelines kind of become irrelevant.

I revisited Logan about a month or so back and it totally floored me, think it was an even better experience than the first time I saw it some years back. Such a fantastic film, one of the rare genre films I'd give a full five stars to.

I have Logan on 4K, Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman put in superb performances, I like how gritty the film is, there is some great character work on show.

I thought it seemed good at what it was, but it wasn't my sort of thing. Maybe I should give it another go.
