I’ve been having troubles finding a way into these @MI6HQ…
On number 2… top line… is it Pay + Poll to get “People?” Then Hoe + Ant to maybe make “Want?”

Your answer at number 2 is near, you're right at people just continue and you'll get the right answer. Well, here's the clues.
    #1 is a place
    #2 is a dialogue
#3 is a Bond (movie) Title

3 is Quantum of Solace. Quor, won, tomb Hoff sol lace. I had the sol lace but I couldn't see how to make Quantum until you said was a movie title.

The second has obviously something to do with a monorail (as in Villain Lair Public Transportation System), but what this has to do with an Iowa college radio station hasn't computed with me so far.

There's a word for that type of transportation, shortening a longer more descriptive word.

    2. is Quarrel yes @Dragonpol.

Also the image right is an elevated rail system, sometimes referred to as "El". Rail works just as good in Rebus world.

I guess I'm not as tech-savvy as RichardTheBruce in putting a new rebus together, but I just thought of the following (which should be easy, I suppose).

Not exactly. I'm more looking for a statement corroborated by the calendars (and note the three dots before the first and after the last calendar).
