    I recently purchased Exorcist II: The Heretic by Shout Factory and Who Saw Her Die? (starring our very own George Lazenby) by Arrow.

    I only realised they are region A when they arrived at my home. My Blu-ray player, an LG, is region B however, and won't play them. Is there any way I can switch this region restriction off? I'd be eternally grateful of someone could help me out here :)

    There maybe an option in your settings menu, what model is it? If not I have several Bluray players 5 I think, I have found that on occasion a very cheap Bluray player is unlocked to all regions. If you were to pick up a second hand dirt cheap Bluray player check online first to see if its region free.

    Videohelp has a list of DVD/Blu-Ray player hacks--you can try looking up your player's model number there.

    However, keep in mind that the regions on most Blu-Ray players cannot be changed by inputting a code. This worked for many DVD players, but Blu-Ray players usually need special firmware or extensive modification to become all-region.

    Unless your player is multi region which in that case will most probably require you to input a certain button combination on your remote in order to switch zones (that can be googled), you will need to hack your player... or buy a multi region one.

    I have the Bluray also, one of my favourites. I got a refund straight away on above item though will get the 4K remaster when it's genuinely available.

    The Jack Palance scene for scene remake of HIGH SIERRA . Not bad, actually and quite interesting. Excellent cast!

    Gives me hope to see some of the other shows that have been released in cinemas in the UK, such as 42nd Street or Riverdance 25th, on DVD someday.
