The Barnes & Noble month-long Criterion sale begins today. Normally, I like to go in-person to pick up my stuff, and I do plan on taking a trip later this month still, but I'm going to be very busy the week of Thanksgiving, which is when Eyes Wide Shut (1999) comes out, and I'm anticipating it to be a particularly popular title, so I placed a pre-order for that as well as Nightmare Alley (2021) to secure free shipping ($50+). Whew, that was a run-on sentence, haha. Anyways, stoked to keep my Kubrick and del Toro 4Ks up to speed, and I hope to pick up another 3-5 titles later on in the month. Luckily I've had a side hustle that has helped bring in extra cash to bolster my 4K collection lately.

    Good for you @FoxRox
I too do a sideline ( cartooning for a magazine twice a month!) to fund any 4K purchases. Just received FRWL, and may purchase one or two of the others! Also just saw a full 'bells and whistles' 4k release of 'The Wild Geese' with lots of extras, have to have that!

@Mathis1 Good for you, too - that sounds really cool! I still haven’t gotten any Bonds on 4K yet; I want to see how the other ones get released first before deciding how to do it.

I too really want the 4k release of The Wild Geese, the one with all the bells and whistles, however the price is putting me off somewhat. It's something I have noticed about physical media lately, it's becoming rather expensive. The Wild Geese is nearly £70 and the recent release of Hammers Curse of Frankenstein was £60. I get physical is becoming more of a collector's market but I'm not sure I can justify the costs anymore.

I have the Blu-ray Arrow release of Wild Geese it has some good extra's. It looks great using my 4K upscale amp though a full remaster I would buy it at a reasonable price.

Great movie one of Sir Rogers best none Bond films.
