That looks amazing. From what I can see, it has real picturesque locations, great action, superior special effects and a richly textured performance from the always reliable Keaton. I hope it's a roaring success, to inspire others to invest in these kinds of films.

Tommy Lee Jones and Brad Pitt will star as father and son in the sci-fi epic Ad Astra, directed by James Gray. Filming begins this September.

The plot: Brad Pitt is space engineer Roy McBride. Twenty years after his father (Tommy Lee Jones) left on a one-way mission to Neptune in order to find signs of extra-terrestrial intelligence, McBride travels through the solar system to find him and understand why his mission failed.

It's a pretty big loss to know Daniel Day-Lewis is quitting acting. Such a great talent. I will definitely be seeing his final film Phantom Thread late this year.

With a bit of tweaking and the inclusion of plants based aliens that can turn into aggressive motor vehicles, this could be a live action Jayce and the wheeled warriors.
