It seems our very own Marc Forster is at fault with some of the issues. Such a shame.

How? He didn't direct, did he?

He directed, or is still directing, World War Z. Click the link, it's one hell of a read as to what's gone on.

How, insane. You'd think Forster would be used to directing under pressure of a deadline and an unfinished script ;). I feel bad for Brad, who probably wants to just abandon ship. I respect him for staying on and weathering the storm.

Forster just has the worst of luck, apparently. I hope they all manage to get through it, I hear it has some pretty great zombie shots throughout the book, and hopefully the film.

That and the regrettable contract he signed months ago..

Here's a (current) live event for the 'Resident Evil: Retribution' trailer release:

    http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=91524

I've always loved and enjoyed the films, and thought they could bring some really entertaining stuff to the cinema - I've tried to see everyone in theaters thus far - but I don't think they should really have a hosted event for the release of the trailer like this. If it were something huge, say a James Bond film, LOTR, Harry Potter, Twilight, etc., then I would understand. But, I won't really complain, yet the event isn't loading properly for me, so I suppose I'll wait an hour or so and watch the new trailer. I know @MajorDSmythe will be as excited as I am!

EDIT: Here's the link for the new 'Resident Evil: Retribution' trailer:

Here's a link for a new Ethan Hawke horror film called 'Sinister'. It's your traditional 'family moves in, house is haunted' film, but don't knock it just yet: looks very scary and unique to me, and it's moved up to my Most Anticipated films list for the year. Take a look:

'The Artist' star Jean Dujardin may star in the upcoming 'The Wolf of Wall Street,' alongside Leonardo Dicaprio. Excellent pairing, I think. Here's the link:

Jill seems to be a deal breaker for you, but for good reason of course.

Absolutely. Since RE:Apocalypse i've been waiting to see a Jill centric story, just like RE:Nemesis. I have not even watched the entirety of Afterlife, I only watched the last 30 seconds. :-\"

I have no idea what you are talking about, but I will take your word for it. Not a big RE fan at all, to be honest.

'Raging Bull II' is now filming, and yes, you read that correctly. No Scorsese or De Niro involved:

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I enjoyed Forsythe...back in the 90's. I wonder if he will star in Citizen Kane 2 or The Wizard of Oz 2.

If that happens, or any remakes of classic films like...should I say it...Cas..a...bla...n..c...a...I WILL GO POSTAL. Whoever is involved with the project had better be prepared for a fight, because I'll come at them swinging. The fact that ignoramuses think that things like that are okay need to be put out to pasture. I love film too much to let that happen and not do something about it.

Did you know there was a sequel to 'Titanic,' as well? That one, I can't even comprehend.

That has no connection to the 1997 film though.

But still, a damn sequel to something that you can't possibly make a sequel to without having an incoherent script.

That would be the 1985 film Return to Oz. An 'unofficial' sequel somehow.

Basically, I want Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine be the centre of an RE film.

@MajorDSmythe, when you do manage to watch the entirety of 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse,' let me know if you think Guillory is smoking hot in the role, because I certainly do.

You mean Afterlife. I've seen Apocalypse, which was the first time I saw Guillory. I wasn't even paying attention to the film, I just happened to turn around and did a double-take so fast, I could've broken my own neck. But it was Helen Of Troy that cemented her as one of my favourite actresses based on talent.

No, I meant 'Apocalypse,' as I thought that was the film you said you had only caught the last thirty seconds of or something.

No, it was Afterlife that I only watched the last 30 seconds of. I don't mean to sound silly, but I would've watched the whole film it Jill was in it more. The Alice character does nothing for me, mostly becuase she was never in any of the games. I just don't see the appeal that she apparantly has. :-??

Well I'll tell you what, Jill most certainly looks good in that tight skirt, that's for sure. Ahh, okay, now I understand why you caught the last 30 seconds of 'Afterlife'.
