OK, @ggl007, you've got a sort of unfair advantage. And I wasn't even in Bilbao for the purpose of taking those pictures. :-)

Wait till I get to doing my comprehensive look at the Hamburg locations of TND.

Unlike Bond, I presume...but I do have a garage parking place in the middle of the city and will do the tour on foot.

I really want to visit Bilbao - a giant floral dog is something I'd enjoy seeing even without the Bond connection.

    Love the pictures.

I actually am shocked at how little Bond related locations I have visited. I certainly plan to visited more in the future.

    This for now:

    Venice, Italy (MR / CR)
    Cortina D'Ampezzo, Italy (FYEO)
    A82, Scotland (SF)
    Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland (TWINE)
    Eiffel Tower, France (AVTAK)

I've been to Amsterdam lot's of times (since I live in The Netherlands) but never went to see the specific Bond locations. Been to Rome as well, same there.

    Nice photo's @j_w_pepper!

One thing a lot of Bond films trigger me with, is the urge to go on vacation (in a positive way haha).

@Agent_99: Better bring rain clothing. In terms of precipitation, Bilbao is right up there with the likes of Britain...and Hamburg.

But...but I was informed the rain in Spain fell mainly on the plain!

    (Thanks for the tip!)

I never know where to put these things when they're object pilgrimages rather than location ones, so here: DAD hovercraft at the Hovercraft Museum, Lee-on-Solent.

Fact I learned: they bolted so much junk onto the big one to make it look scary that it became too heavy to hover, and had to be towed!

    HI PIERCE!

    241796_600.jpg

Amongst loads of other interesting stuff, the museum has the last surviving SR.N4 cross-Channel hovercraft, the Princess Anne. Sister ship Princess Margaret appears in DAF. Sadly Maggie has been dismantled and cannibalised to help with the restoration of Anne, but her bridge is still on display in the Bond section.

The place does look a little crowded, doesn't it?

They're very pushed for space, which is why they could only save one of the big SR.N4s. They have a lot of little racing / leisure / search & rescue hovercraft, too!

I'm thinking about going to Corfu this summer. Does anyone have tips with regards to FYEO locations (other tips are welcome too)?

No FYEO tips, but I loved Corfu - it was stunningly beautiful.

(I picked Corfu as a destination because I loved My Family and Other Animals so much as a child. I did see one of the Durrell family's villas, and swam at Larry's favourite beach.)

I've just been reading @00Agent's wonderful posts and I was always under the impression that Bond never actually visited Macau and that it was all studio-based. After a little investigation I can see that I was completely misinformed and that Bond did indeed visit Rua das Lorchas in Macau. The irony being that I too visited this same street to see a British antique shop in one of those little buildings and was completely unaware that I was in fact visiting a site used in TMWTGG.

The Achillion Palace, Gastouri in Corfu is where this was shot below, plus the casino scene...
    View+point.jpg

Agios Spyridon Tower, Corfu Town, is where this scene of Bond and Melina shopping was shot...
    Corfu%2Btown%2BSt%2BSpiridon.jpg

Both Paleokastritsa Road, Bouas-Danilia Village and Environs, Pagi Village, Corfu, is where the car chase was shot...
    Pagi+road+2CV.jpg

Cliffs, The Old Fortress, Corfu Town is where Bond kicks the Mercedes off cliff with Locque in it, plus the tunnels in the fortress were used in addition to the Albanian warehouse action sequence...
    Loque+cliff.jpg

Villa Sylva, Kanoni, Corfu was where Gonzale's spanish villa with swimming pool was shot...

    Great thread.

The Guggenheim is such a beautiful building. As is Bilbao, Corfu, and, well, everything!

    Impressive trip, @00Agent!

    Thanks guys :)
You all make me very curious for Corfu. It was not on my list but i love greece. I have been to it two years ago, went to Athene and took a ship down to the islands because i wanted to experience the Trip from Colonel Sun :D (yes i am obsessive like that)

Currently i am actually on little sightseeing trip in Munich, but there are no real Bond connections here. Except for the main BMW Facility and museeum with some nice little shout outs to GE and TND

Oh and I had a really cool Moment when I walked down this beautiful garden in Front of a palace, and in the middle of the Garden was a white marble Pavillon, and inside was a guy playing his piano, and just when I came in he played Skyfall by adele :D not kidding. Had to give him 5€ just for that

Don’t Bond and Tracy get married in Munich? Possibly at the British consulate if I recall. Haven’t got the book to hand if someone could check?

Oh my god you are right! I just checked it.
They even stayed in the Four Seasons, Tracy calling it her favorite hotel in the world.
I was wondering the whole day where i should have Cocktails this evening, that settles it then. Tomorrow morning i'll check the british consulate.
    Thanks Wiz!

]Not as glamorous as some here but over the Bank Holiday weekend I visited Stonor House, Stoke Park golf course, St. Giles Church, Nettlebed House and stood outside a little place called Pinewood Studios :D

I'm in London at the moment for work and had a day off today so I managed to get to M's house in Skyfall (also John Barry's house of course!), the tunnels in Spectre where M and Bond are attacked, the Royal College of Arms from Majesty's (which is actually about 1 minute from the Spectre tunnels), the "new" MI6 entrance into the tunnels from Skyfall and the building from the "Shanghai" scenes in Skyfall where Bond follows Patrice.

    Fun day!

Pics will be going on my instagram soon.
