Its title is "Spain". I found it in an abandoned locale, with glass and frame and all. It just needed some serious cleaning.

Not sure where the booklet is at present, I removed some of the images and put them in 15 by 10cm frames they are boxed up in storage at present I took them of my wall and replaced them with Tibetan God masks (I collect antiques and memorabilia). I will have a look later.

Given the date (1938) I'm thinking it has something to do with the Spanish Civil War which was still ongoing then. Picasso famously painted it too.

I have a large framed image of this by Dali. I just took some photo's of some large framed Dali prints I have though the lighting and reflections on the glass is bad.

Dutch actor/painter Jeroen Krabbé (The Living Daylights) making a mini series (Jeroen Krabbé zoekt... / Search) about Paul Gauguin (1848 - 1903). 3th series out of 4 about painters (Van Gogh, Picaso and Marc Chagall). It is shame there are not avaible with English subs. He visit the places where painters live and work, traveling with books under his arm with humor sarcasm and by times emotional ride. Paul Gauguin is for same time as Van Gogh (1853-1890), there be friends for a long time. For some time he lived in Haiti.

Example, inspyred by van Gogh. Café de nuit, Arles from 1888 with Marie Julien (1848-1911).

From mini series opening titles based on Haiti element.

In another thread somebody post a video with Brosnan and art book about Paul Gauguin.

But my favorite series is last one about Marc Chagall (1887 - 1985). From my mom i get a 2019 postcard with the Circus Rider from 1931: It is him and a girl on horse. I stick it between the holes above of my computer screen.

Painting from Jeroen Krabbé (At age of 12-13) himself named: Chagall vis from 1957 (from one of episodes)

Some of Marc Chagall work is more a mix of Van Gogh (Colors), Picaso and Dali. Krabbé whant more time for a 5th series after very emotional ride of 4th series, but possible it going about Andy Warholl.

QOS, Skyfall and Spectre are very arty with Skyfall including paintings. Also people know i am big fan of museum (miami) sculptures in CR (and human copy in SF in Shanghai) and Rainbow of light in QOS maintitle /scotland scene in Skyfall. Whyle that is more photo/video art.

I didn't know we had this thread. This is great!
I like a few artists quite a lot: Monet, Dali, Grimshaw, Waterhouse; to name a few.

Here is one of my favourite paintings (I have to use twitter as I won't subscribe to a photo sharing service) ...
