He means we'll be covering the censorship issues surrounding the films.

Cutting Edge is also doing Hard Target later this year. You should see more news about upcoming features from their Facebook page.

The John Woo directed Van Damme film? I like the theatrical version that's readily available, but I would have to buy any workprint/alternate cut if made available.

Which one do you need? I have the Workprint Version and the Sneak Preview Cut + an Version someone Cuts the gore scenes in the Theater Release (but only SD Quality not HD). Write me an PM.

Anyone has the Workprint of Goldeneye/Tomorrow Never Dies?
  • Since I dont own a physical copy of the workprint anymore I have posted some more screencaps from the workprint. Keep in mind that the quality is poor as it was taken from a tape. james.jpg Naamloos.jpg Naamloos2.jpg Naamloos4.jpg Naamloos5.jpg

Very nice, thanks you, do you remember some deleted/extended scenes (like when the helicopter lift off of the french boat) who are not in the movie or DVD bonus ?

Why would you give up a copy of the workprint or a least dup it? And why post screenshots of clips that are in the theatrical version. You could have illustrated the quality (which is very good compared to TLD) with some of the unseen material at the same time.

As i've stated I don't have this workprint anymore but I had managed to post more screencaps of the ones that I have posted 2 years ago.

all the screenshots I've seen you post are not unique to the workprint. it would have made a lot more sense to capture a moment that we know was cut out, from the lists that I and everyone seem to keep reposting about.
You don't have it anymore.... I mean the first thing any Bond fan is going to want to do is rip a full avi of the tape if they ever got their hands on it!
but thanks for posting the cut in the pre-cred, I enjoyed it but at the moment others can't.

I'm sorry if my reply was a little bit snobbish. I get alot of private messages of people asking for this workprint when I don't have it.

Nice Screenshots thank you! :) did anyone tried contact MGMG? Maybe they had the workprint in there archives? I'am searching for the Workprint of "Event Horizion" but its so hard to get in contact with the director :(
  • Hey Gunbarrels007, what happened to your copy of the workprint?
  • Oh, and I have a good news update. Cutting Edge just posted a trailer image on Facebook for a special edition on Strange Days... despite the fact that only 1 sec was removed from the UK cinema release and only 14 seconds from the UK video release! :O I bet that's "one of the best episodes" as they said on their episode list. Wanna see?

    - A big episode on a Schwarzenegger movie (Eraser)
    - A couple of films starring The Rock (The Mummy Series)
    - A recent action movie (The Equalizer)
    - A special edition covering a TV series (Doctor Who)
    - Something scary for Halloween from the late 2000s (Either the Saw series or the Halloween reboot)
    - A look at a certain comic book movie (Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, I think)
    - A special edition episode to round out the year that promises to be one of the best episodes yet (Strange Days)

Those are what I think are the upcoming episodes of Cutting Edge. I'm excited for the rest of Series 1 and the upcoming Series 2. :)

Just saw this thread for the first time, very cool. I'd love it if they released some more deleted scenes from the films. There are so may scenes just from recent films that have never been released (a few from the CR trailers come to mind).

    Do you have it?
  • Actually, Gunbarrels007 posted a excerpt on YouTube.
  • Any chance we can find the deleted shots of the sex scene with Xenia and the Admiral, Xenia gunning down the workers at Severnaya, and the cuts from the sauna scene with Xenia and Bond?

Sorry, yes I did mean the TLD workprint.
Of course, I feel curious to see it in its fully uncut form.

Forgive my ignorance. But what's a work print???

Not many people know about these, so ignorance is forgiven.

    From Wikipedia

"A workprint is a rough version of a motion picture, used by the film editor(s) during the editing process. Such copies generally contain original recorded sound that will later be re-dubbed, stock footage as placeholders for missing shots or special effects, and animation tests for in-production animated shots or sequences."

Sometimes little bits of these end up on YouTube and are pretty neat to look at.

I used to have some footage on youtube a while back which included an extra shot of the barrels falling down on the guards during the facility scene which was taken down. I uploaded two excerpts from Goldeneye and two from Tomorrow Never Dies.

  • Wow! I really liked those excerpts. Thanks Gunbarrels007!
  • Why not include the shot of 006 being shot in the first clip? That's what we all want to see!

I only had the parts which I used for my screencaps of the workprint.

Here's something interesting, after the scene with Q and Bond there was a continuation after Q's line ''Don't touch that, it's my lunch'' which was rightfully cut. Only a promo shot remains of this.

Interesting. No doubt if any footage exists, it is sat in a safe in EONs office, which we might get to see, several re-releases down the line.

    No one's commenting much anymore.

No and i not see useless comment in this thread, beacause each time a see a "1" in yellow in this topic, i have a great hope that someone post a link to download the workprint ; but (almot) each time i'm dissapointing beacause is a useless commentary.
