    IMDb lists the Norway general release as 3 April, @Torgeirtrap, the only earlier date is 2 April. Maybe you're benefitting from the on location filming this time.

    US release is 10 April. I've lived some places for previous Bond films where it came out a full month after the UK so I'm not sweating it.

    Interesting info @RichardTheBruce, but I was thinking about the home media release dates of Knives Out ;-)

    Oh okay, another item of note, @Torgeirtrap. Thanks for correcting me.

    No problem. You also made me aware that NTTD premieres quite early here, which is good to know! :-)

    Please, please, please add Brosnan or Dalton in the cast for the sequel. I've always wanted to see 2 Bonds interact with each other on screen, and this is the perfect opportunity for this to happen.

    That’s ironic, considering QT’s comments about DC and CR, a dream project of his.

    What were his comments on DC? I only recall how he only wanted Brosnan for his adaptation of CR and couldn’t watch EON’s 2006 film because he felt so burned over it.

    I don’t know about CR, but he did express his views on SF and SP on the podcast Reel Blend.

    1:14:37? He's talking about Manson at that point in the podcast, it seems.

    @Torgeirtrap I think @Minion meant 114.37 as in 1 hour, 54 minutes and 37 seconds.

    Gotta love Quentin. The way he roasts SF is hilarious. Good to know he really likes SP.

    The "and a f*****g farmer is helping them out? WTF.... is that a f*****g James Bond?" killed me.

    Has anyone transcribed what Tarantino said?

    Although I disagree with his views on SP, I was left with a similar feeling watching SF.

    SP is bloody awful if that is QT's idea of a great modern Bond film, I hope he never gets anywhere near the series.

    SF is far superior to SP and I take it he is mocking the late great Albert Finney in that sentence.

    OUATIH is a film I enjoyed although it is probably the most overrated film of 2019.

    He hasn't made a true great film since Inglourious Basterds.

    Why do so many think what he says his gospel?

    Quentin is an asshole as a person, from everything I have ever read about him basically. I like some of his films, though, sure.

    Also Knives Out far more deserves best screenplay over OUATIH

    I know which film I enjoyed more and it is so much more inventive than his overlong meander around Hollywood.

    Why SP “haters” just can’t accept the fact that an absolute genius filmmaker and living movie encyclopedia likes SP better than SF? Move on. Having said that I love them both - even tho all in all I’d choose SP quite confidently - and I really enjoy loving them both.

    @4EverBonded, @Shardlake

    Both of you are entitled to your views on SP, but between you and Quentin Tarantino, I don't think you're the one with the clout to tell someone else their opinion is garbage. This shouldn't be taken as another opportunity to vent your frustrations against SP, which is a blight that already affects multiple threads here.

    But I also agree that Knives Out is a stronger screenplay than OUATIH. Shame it wasn't up for that award.

    Yeah Johnson came up with an absolute jewel of a script. OUATIH is a strong one too.

    I find it a bit flippant and lacks an understanding of the character of Kincade, who is not a farmer, and what he means to Bond.

    Post capture of Silva, SF has it's share of lapses in logic, but I have no problem with Kincade

    I didn't say anything about Spectre. And I enjoyed Spectre. I just said Quentin, as a person, seems to be a jerk (to put it politely). But some of his films are interesting to me.

    QT is a complete horse's ass, and always has been. There is a long list of crap he's said and done, the worst being the injury to Uma Thurman in Kill Bill due to his own carelessness.
