    I’m more than halfway through the OHMSS novel. It’s only my fourth Fleming book so I’d like to get to the end of it first and then to the other books. Only then I could tell you if I agree that OHMSS is the quintessential Bond novel. So far, I’d say it’s my favorite.

    Friend, TB is not just simply loved, it's adored. It was the height of Bondmania during the franchise's most fruitful decade, it's Connery at his best, it's the gorgeous girls and locations and it's THE quintessential 007 film.

    I agree, or definitely the quintessential archetypical Bond film. Everything you come to associate with Bond it delivers and it does so perfectly. Always been a clear favourite of mine.

    Roger is the hardest for me to be sure about, with FYEO and LALD right up there for me. When it comes to Connery, I can imagine DAF taking over a few viewings from now.

    Ha ha, I don't worry at all! I just look like I'm trolling sometimes and wish that weren't so! I mean, if we did the least favorites from each actor, I'd have GF, TSWLM, and CR on there. And I'd be very tempted to have GE too.

    I would have put LALD, TLD and SF on a list like that. Also not a popular opinion.

    Now about LEAST favorite film from each actor (we probably did this elsewhere, but whatever):

    Connery: DAF (NSNA if I counted it, which I never do)
    Moore: AVTAK (rough one, and I wish he quit earlier)
    Dalton: LTK (fantastic film, but I slightly prefer TLD)
    Brosnan: DAD (and the nadir of the series)
    Craig: QOS (I love it, but slightly less than SP. Yes, really.)

    Diamonds Are Forever
    Moonraker (Tough one, but this was when Moore started to descend into self parody levels)
    Die Another Day (The Batman and Robin of the 007 movies)
    Spectre (The film that stopped me watching Bond movies for 4 years until I binge watched them all again after buying the boxset off of Amazon)

    Decided to not include Sir Tim’s second outing after much deliberation.

    I won't include George and Tim because the few Bond films they've done were all fantastic.

    DAF (As far as I am concerned the Connery era ended with YOLT...)
    OHMSS (Lazenby's worst film BY FAR ;) ;)) )
    TMWTGG (Just about edges out AVTAK)
    TLD (Although one of my favorites)
    DAD (Could just as well have been TWINE)
    SP (Although not as bad as most of the others)
