Like @Bain123, being of a younger generation, born towards thew tail end of The Two Ronnies, I didn't get to see them on tv at the time. But thanks to the likes of UK Gold, I have been able to enjoy The Two Ronnies. The same goes for Sorry!.

R.I.P Ronny a true great, watched Sorry also and The Two Ronnies when young, the phantom raspberry blower was classic. Was amusing in CR67 admittedly that was in one of the most bizarre segments of the film.

Douglas Wilmer R.I.P. He also had a small roll in one of my favorite comedies A Shot in the Dark and was great in another favorite Jason and the Argonauts

Always reminded me of Rathbone in look, fitting he went on the play Sherlock Holmes.

RIP Douglas Wilmer. Although the role of Jim Fanning was a small one, he proved to be a memorable character in one of Octopussy's best scenes.
I read that Sir Roger Moore broke the news of Douglas Wilmer's passing via social media. Nice that they were still in touch.

Aside from his classics, Corbett doing coke in the toilets at the BAFTA's (in Extras) is fucking incredible.

Mark Gatiss' tribute to Douglas was beautiful: "An honour to have known dear Douglas Wilmer. A Sherlock for all seasons. The work was something, the man was all. RIP"

A mere few hours ago, my dear grandmother, who's always been a second mother to me, passed away at the age of 90. It's a consolation that she didn't have to suffer too much and that she's had a very good life. But I shall miss her. First, she took care of me; the past ten or so years, I took care of her, together with my parents. I was her only grandson.

I'm in her house now. And it's empty.
