With Dr Who and Eurovision on BBC 1 they’re giving up a bit there: just bung an old Bond on! :)

Have you guys watched NTTD on TV? I imagine the whole experience surpasses the 3-hour mark what with all the ads.

Not with all the cuts ITV usually make to Bond 😁

Which is ridiculous when Bond is often aired after the watershed. saying that if ITV cut out Bond dying in NTTD I would approve lol

Yesterday, I watched the show Invitation au Voyage on Arte, and for the third time (after Bond in Tyrol and Bond in Jamaica), they did a report on Bond, this time Bond in Portugal (more specifically Estoril). First, by talking about how Bond was born, and his link to famous spy Dusko Popov (yes, Fleming and him met in Estoril), and then about the movie OHMSS. If it's not region-locked, you can watch it here :

Goldfinger was on ITV1 at 6.30am today; one of the oddest bits of scheduling they've done for a Bond. And Skyfall is on at 8pm tonight, so at least they're putting two good ones on!

I noticed that a few days ago when checking what to record on my Freeview Recorder, also QoS was on from 2315 last night to 0100 this morning on ITV, bizarre showing three Bond films in one day on the same channel.

Back in my youth when there were not many channels I loved it when ITV did Bond seasons, they always did good promos for the Bond season.

I have maybe watched one Bond film all year and hardly any last year. I avoid them for long periods so I can revisit them fresh. A Mooreathon is guaranteed fun, I love his Bond films lol

Haven't watched any Bond films this year thus far, and only saw NTTD, LALD and OP last year, I think. I prefer to savour the gaps between films, and treat them like an event. Can't watch them every week! But I like trying to line one up for it's anniversary.

I know it is very difficult having watched the films hundreds of times, though I try to leave it long enough that I may forget aspects of the movies, plus I was still holding out for a complete series boxset in 4K, god knows if we will ever get that.

For British viewers (and those who can watch British TV outside of Britain) :

    https://www.radiotimes.com/programme/b-ojmlr6/sleuths-spies-sorcerers-andrew-marrs-paperback-heroes-season-1/?episode=b-7hrbdc

I don't know if Ian Fleming will be mentioned, but I see no reason why not.

    EDIT : He was !
