Does anyone else use Photobucket? There is now a fee for picture sharing. I believe it's 399.00.

It's odd, I've had some pictures and avatars disappear that are linked to Photobucket and others not.

WE NOTICED THAT YOU HAVE BEEN USING
    PHOTOBUCKET FOR 3RD PARTY HOSTING*

TO RESTORE YOUR 3RD PARTY HOSTED IMAGES,
PLEASE UPGRADE TO A PLUS 500 PLAN.

Our Terms of Service does not allow 3rd party hosting with your current account level.

    UPGRADE NOW

    *What is 3rd Party Hosting?

Photobucket defines 3rd party hosting as the action of embedding an image or photo onto another website. For example, using the <img> tag to embed or display a JPEG image from your Photobucket account on another website such as a forum, Etsy, eBay auction listings, a blog, etc. is definitively 3rd party hosting.

    Why Photobucket?

Photobucket continues to have the distinct pleasure of hosting 15 billion photos from 100 million unique users since inception 14 years ago.

The subscriptions we offer are price competitive & we offer unlimited 3rd party hosting, no matter how popular your image is on your forum, blog or online store.

Additionally, we offer our users the opportunity to promote their business or products with the rest of the Photobucket community.
photobucket | for the love of photos.

Photobucket has always been sketchy. Just getting on it to look at a picture slows my laptop to almost non function. I highly recommend using Imgur. It's fast, easy and free.

@talos7, Photobucket has progressively gotten more problematic. I can't even view photos linked from it without my computer constantly slowing to a crawl. And like other uploaders like Imageshack, you know are demanded to pay to use it.

As @Murdock says, Imgur is the best out there I've found and I use it to back up all my art work alongside DeviantArt. No bullshit caps on what you can post, very fast uploads in seconds, and a great and streamlined way to look at your images. Nothing currently matches it that I've run into.

I guess I'll be switching to Imgur as I've used Photobucket for most of my images on this site.

Precisely why my ad-block is always running whenever I have to go there.

For me when it comes to tech. I'm like a child that's been given a brand new toy without any instruction on how to use it or know what it's functions are. I just figure it out. :)

Let's just start a SPECTRE type group that gives us the ability to be all elitist about our passion for Bond and our obscene knowledge about all the minutia (we could even have specialty rings). Minus all the murder, human trafficking, industry monopolization and drug running, etc.

@Birdleson, that's why I'm dying to meet up with someone on the forums and watch a Bond movie together in person. I've never had that experience, so it would be quite refreshing to enjoy one alongside someone who knows just as much about the series as I do - and has an equal appreciation.

@Birdleson and @Some_Kind_Of_Hero , Together! We had some drinks, some food, talked Bond and other things, and then went to my place to watch MOONRAKER! We actually live fairly close to each other. A swell time, and hopefully many more to come. @BeatlesSansEarmuffs and @Revelator , next time; the Bond trivia game arrived today.

Great picture guys! Maybe you could arrange a global MI6 convention where we all could meet?

Unfortunately, there's no way to do it directly. You have to upload them to a third party site (like Imgur) and then post the link here inside image tags and it will embed.
