I didn't buy it myself but I got as a Christmas gift today the following:

  • Mr. Holmes, for my father, as in my country we have two days for presents: 25th of December by cultural osmosis and 6th of January by tradition: the Three Wise Men come and bring presents to kiddos. It's important to leave turrón (a traditional sort of cake with hundreds of flavors to choose that range from almonds to gin-tonic, even including licensed products (FC Barcelona, Doraemon, Dragon Ball...) for them and water for their camels.

Just purchased "X-Meb : Days of Future Past / The Rogue Cut" on Blu-Ray. 25 €, but I think it's worth it.

And ordered a few DVDs as well from the british and american Amazons :

UK : Classic Doctor Who adventures "Planet of Evil", "Pyramids of Mars", "The Brain of Morbius", "The Seeds of Doom", "The Mask of Mandragora" and "The Hand of Fear" (so I'll have all of Sarah Jane's appearances), as well as "Katherine Jenkins in the Park", and DW spin-off "Downtime".

US : "Orla Fallon's My Land", "Orla Fallon's Celtic Christmas", and "Celtic Woman : Destiny".

I was so let down by it :( everyone amped up how insanely scary it was, but I was real disappointed. Had an eerie feel but nothing more, didn't find myself jumping at all.

I splurged and ordered several movies from Amazon, including Duel, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Finding Neverland, The Prestige, and several Stanley Kubrick classics.

A friend of mine recommended "Gettysburgh" and "Gods and Glory", both American Civil War movies. While purchasing both on Amazon, I saw "Andersonville".
I didn't know that a movie was made about the infamous Confederate camp.
I'll watch them as soon as I get them.

Ok I bought a Good Day to Die Hard (I know I know but I am a complitionist) and Mission Impossible 5 I had the bourne Trilogy in my hand but I am so nervous to buy it as I stated before I cant stand Matt Damon but I LOVED The Bourne Legacy (which is why I want Tony Gilroy to direct Bond 25 but I fear it's a pipe dream) I will buy the trilogy and watch it at some point because everyone here has told me too but I am undeniably nervous.

I bought the Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes starring, Rising Sun. Liked it when I first watch it so to find it brand new on bluray for £1 in Poundland, it was well worth it.
