    I think they should use the original looking gunbarrel (Like previous bonds up to LTK) and use that with the accompaning music. this is the half century anniversary!

    With SM in charge i think there will be tea and scones at the very opening followed by a deconstruction thesis of the Guardian newspaper and an emotional monologue by JB as he tells the story of Skfall.

    JB, bearded, is in a dungeon in a Scottish castle awaiting his fate. He has no will to live. He looks up at the shaft of light prying its way through the vented shutters of his gaol window. The light is mesmerising and Bond drifts away into his own thoughts.

    He then recants, through flashbacks, directly to the camera how and why he ended up in the situation he's in: The death of M, and why the establishment wanted her out of the way....M or his duty to the state, he's emotionally divided but he chooses his path and nothing will stop him. As he retells his tale, his energy and drive return, he escapes his dungeon and hunts down the man responsible for his plight in the cold forbidding Scottish highlands....

    Do you think there will be a gunbarrel sequence at the very beginning of SF? How do you think it will look like?

    I think this time they will put the gunbarrel at the traditional place. As for how it will look like: The last 3 Bond films had 3 different gunbarrel designs: DAD had the traditional one (with the added CGI bullet), CR had one completely new by Daniel Kleinman and QOS had a gunbarrel designed by MK12.

    If Kleinman returns we will probably get the traditional gunbarrel or he'll use the design from CR. I'm hoping for the CR design with added white dots before it.

    It'll be a mix between the Brosnan and Casino Royale gun barrels I would think. Kleinman will give it that new twist for Craig, or may just stick with how it was. I've always liked that version myself.

    I'm 99.9% sure Skyfall will start with the gunbarrel. Let's hope Kleinman will return to give us a great one.

    It has to be at the at the start of skyfall, the last time we had a proper gunbarrel was the TWINE in '99 which is ages ago, so I'm hoping they put it back in its rightful place

    I hope they redesign it more along the lines of the CR look. Or the old Bob SImmons look.

    I'm happy to have a Brosnan or CR style gunbarrel. I thought the QoS one looked too plain. Or a nice and crisp old school gunbarrel. How about blood? Flat red or reflective like in CR?

    If they dicide to stop creating silly reasons on why it was moved, something I think should not havee happened. Then i'd rather they return to the classic look (1962 to 1989). Though the might think that's outdated now (I don't think so), then i'd settle for the Brosnan era style.

    It's perfect, that's why. That is what we need. Change the design if you like but that's Craig's gun barrel down to a tee.

    The "fast walk" has also been dropped - stupid idea anyway.

    When I made the original video I posted I had forgotten that MK12 will not be back. The gunbarrel will probably be a GE-DAD or CR style if Kleinman returns. I do not have the tools to do so, but if someone could make a dot gunbarrel with the CR pattern, It would be greatly appreciated!

    I'd like to see Craig do something truly unique. Maybe drawing his gun from its holster as he walks on, then ejecting the spent casing and walking off as the blood drips down. Or maybe using the original QUANTUM OF SOLACE concept of starting from a stand-still in the middle of the screen, turning, drawing and firing (there were photos from production that suggested it would happen, but Craig didn't like the way it looked).

    There's not much difference between the QUANTUM OF SOLACE and DIE ANOTHER DAY gunbarrels and the rest of them. DIE ANOTHER DAY has the CGI bullet and techno soundtrack, but otherwise, it's a conventional gunbarrel. And the QUANTUM OF SOLACE gunbarrel is at the end of the film, but there's no significant difference. The CASINO ROYALE gunbarrel is really the only non-traditional gunbarrel that we've had. So I think saying that we have gone for thirteen years without a "traditional" gunbarrel is a massive overstatement.

    I've always wanted to see the gunbarrel drop to the ground with a thump after Bond shoots. Then see a pool of blood stretch over the floor.
