The massage scene. Another moment that gets flack, yet I really don't mind it.

The scene with the security guard is pretty classic. I actually love this casino sequence, Domination game and all.
I don't think that guy looks anything like Dalton. :D
I think Brandauer is an underrated villain. He's pretty slimy and evil.

I'd really like to know what kind of laser watch Bond wears in this film.
A mystery yet to be solved.
Several years back, someone on a watch forum said the logo on the dial appears to read 'Oris'. I agree that it is an Oris, but have never ID'd the actual model or seen a strap like that.

    Interesting. Thanks.

Bond does the tango. Dalton was great during the dance sequence in THE ROCKETEER. Haven't seen that movie in ages. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas?

Fatima really likes Michel Legrand's tango music. Singing along and all.
I think they should've played JUMP UP.

I love the motor bike chase and the following confrontation with Fatima.
    Great stuff.

The bathrobe Bond wears is hilarious. I love it!

    Don't forget 12:00...lunch.....
I love Brandauer's line delivery there.
Time for some more funky bass music....YEAH!
    The saxophone is funny, too.

Largo loses his cool and smashes the stereo. Bond in a yellow/gray striped polo shirt. The gray jumper makes it alright I suppose.
I actually love the Palmyra sequence. Connery looks cool as can be. For some reason he's given a costume change before being chained up. Not sure why.

Bond could've just knocked out the first guard instead of dangling outside the window.
I remember the audience laughter when he knocks out the next guard.
I don't mind Legrand's chase music score as Bond and Domino escape Palmyra.

The Tears of Allah set has kind of a RAIDERS feel.

    .........and Domino saves the day.
I must say the Blu ray transfer really is an improvement on the DVD. Far more colorful.
Great viewing of this competing Bond adventure.

Pettachi is getting pounded. I remember these scenes in the cinema.
I remember the shot of Connery thru Fatima's lense was extremely green in the cinema.

I remember that as well, and that most of the film looked far better on the big screen.

Fatima has another costume change before planting the bomb in Bond's suite.

I always thought that was odd, she must have done a Superman in a phone box! 😆

I recall it looking pretty vivid and saturated. The Domination game, especially had bright colors.

Just watching CR and I have to say I have a new found appreciation of the Miami scenes, that was exhilarating. Great stunt work during the airport action sequence.

After 2 second's there is more chemistry between Bond and Vesper than there is with Bond and Madeline in two whole movies.

    Eva Green :x

Love the banter when Bond and Vesper are in transit.

The next Bond will do well to have a debut half as good as CR, this film is superb.

:)) I love how Bond's plan kind of backfires and he is the one most distracted by Vesper in that dress, so many great subtle moments in this film.

Eva Green is such a great actress her betrayal is foreshadowed a lot from her none verbal subtle acting during certain moments. It is evident something is going on beneath the surface with Vesper, bond for the most part is consumed by his ego he would not notice.

The scene when Michael G. Wilson gets arrested, Vesper really does look uneasy initially when the police cars appear for example.

The stairwell fight is top tier, Vesper's reaction really sells the horror and intensity. Its very Hitchcockian how Vesper is almost forced to watch as Bond slowly strangles the life out of Obanno, Vesper here is an effective audience surrogate.

Going to watch that scene again it is so good.

So true. Because she looks like that, the quality of Eva's acting doesn't get the credit it deserves. After working with her on Penny Dreadful, someone of the calibre of Patti LuPone said 'I would walk to the ends of the earth to work with Eva! To act with her is a transcendent experience.' Patti knows whereof she speaks, man!

Eva really understands how to subtly project complexity in a character.

Helped along by Arnold's marvellous music...

It's one of his best scores, I felt Arnold just kept getting better with each film. I hope he returns at some point.

Here we go.........my annual Christmas viewing of OHMSS.
I've watched this film at least twice already this year.
    Probably more.
Where I live, we're supposed to be getting a big snow storm this week so I need to see 007 on skis.

I think this is one of Bernard Lee's best portrayals of M. Possibly the best portrayal of M in any Bond film.
