    I do feel this film has one foot firmly in the Silver Age of Cinema.

    Robert Shaw was such a great actor (JAWS, THE DEEP, FORCE 10, etc.) and he plays off of Connery very well here (as he does again in ROBIN and MARIAN).

    Again, how many of us - when we're dining out - have this "red wine with fish" thing playing in our heads!!!

    I have fond memories of watching this film on a Black and White TV.

    I still rate it as Connerys finest as Bond. Never leaves my top 10!

    This was the start of the villain turning up in the final reel! Wish they did it in every movie!
