For some reason, when I was very young, I always confused this part of FRWL with THE TRAIN (1964, John Frankenheimer).

Brilliant film. Recently got on bluray!

Grant has that underlying menace throughout, if I met him my guard would be up at all time lol

Yep, and a brilliant Paul Schofeld!

Robert Shaw was such a great actor (JAWS, THE DEEP, FORCE 10, etc.) and he plays off of Connery very well here (as he does again in ROBIN and MARIAN).

Again, how many of us - when we're dining out - have this "red wine with fish" thing playing in our heads!!!

Don't think I have seen it. Schofield was great with Robert Shaw in A Man For all Seasons.

I'm surprised that the people in the next room didn't knock on the door to tell Bond and Grant to keep the noise down! :))

I still rate it as Connerys finest as Bond. Never leaves my top 10!
    Anyway, we're not finished yet.

IIRC, it is Dalton and Craig's favorite as well.

This was the start of the villain turning up in the final reel! Wish they did it in every movie!
