You guys don't remember Renard? Renard (Thomas Waldek = tomshortcut) was a member on the old MI6 Forums and he used to share on the older board his stunning work with his Fan Made trailers. The guy is a genius...

No one remember him at all? Her former username was Renard, but I don't think his around this time.

^Small world! I hope he continues. I'd be fascinated to see what he can do with Skyfall.

Alright, on this one I made the blue lighter and made the "SKYFALL" in text more prominent. I also adjusted the opacity of the 007 so that it was still noticeable against the new background.

    Which do you all prefer?

The outline effect looks great. I prefer the gritty flag version. Maybe just put a white layer between the flag and Bond and drop the opacity to 5%. However, they're both awesome as they are. :)
a couple of days ago the website COLLIDER posted the image on their site with credits to another guy, instead of me. I sent them an email, but not received any replies yet.
Okay- we'll need a small strike team... ;)

Thanks for mentioning the Fan Art GL. I've already posted here...

By the way, this Fan Art ran the world. Thanks a friend from here (MI6Community) for the advise, a couple of days ago the website COLLIDER posted the image on their site with credits to another guy, instead of me. I sent them an email, but not received any replies yet.

Anyway, I'm really flattered that you guys liked it :)

For your consideration, back in Feb 18th that poster appeared in a Spanish newspaper (ABC) as the SkyFall one...

No credits in the picture, of course...

I imagine they just looked in google images and took one of the first results...

Wow @marketto your work has really gotten around. Congrats to you my friend. The attention is well deserved considering your awesome portfolio of Bond fan arts.

Saw the vesper chronicles posted in a thread over at cbm about a year ago. I remember it took Tom ages to put it together as he lost a lot of his footage. He's bloody amazing.

@marketto007 first of all I want to say nice job on the posters. I'm glad you're getting exposure though I do wish you were credited!

Secondly: @TomWaldek (Renard) always delivered good stuff and he IS a member here (with very few posts). I still remember some of his early works from 05-06. His OHMSS, FRWL, and Octopussy trailers to name a few. He still posts new videos and he is currently working on a TLD project!

    THANK YOU FOR KILLING

Having said that, his GE montage is one of my favourites of his:

After watching a few of the fan made trailers above, I created one of my own.
Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
CASINO ROYALE, starring; Barry Nelson in 1954.

I also tweaked with the quality, made it more clear than the other footage online of the film.

Very good @jolareon! A few of my friends were curious about this version of CR and I think I will show them your trailer as an effort to explain it to them!

The "Thank you for Killing" by Tom Waldek is amazing. I love that kind of videos with all the Bonds together... (the official 50th Anniversary had too much Craig... for comercial reasons).

Video incoming.. I re-edited the Quantum car chase, and added some Giacchino!

    It'll be done uploading soon.

We need a better method of search!
I guess I'll move it into the Alternate/re-mixed thread..

Searching for threads on MI6 Community is horrible. Search Google with 'MI6 Communinty' and then name the thread you are searching for. It is pretty good at searching for what you want most of the time.

It's annoying that this is the one feature that's worse than it was on the old forums and it happens to be the only thing that we wanted an improvement on in the first place, when the upgrade happened.

Maybe that's next in line for the feedback thread. You should make a post in there, so it's in the queue at least.

On topic, one day when I have time I really should attempt a poster of some sort for a Bond film, the series or even an era of films. I'd like to know what I can (or maybe cannot) do!
