In that case, I'll post the list in the coming week and I can edit it after each contribution made by a member.

If you've got enough time then could you do it for Diamonds Are Forever? (the last JB film I would do)
The idea: basically you watch the film as you always would, but you make note of 2 or 3 "takes" that seemed quite long (usually it is very obvious). When the movie is done, you can go back and do it in less than 2mins. Fade in/out is allowed but only count one of the shots (not first and 2nd). Also, if the take continues into the credits, you must stop timing when the first credit is shown (e.g. FRWL).
    Thanks!

That's splendid. I'm one of those who have DAF quite high in the ranking.
It's outside my Top 10, but just so mostly.

With a take you mean for example how long it take till Daniel Craig said Bond James Bond when Mr White looks to him. Because 86 seconds under a shower look to me a bit long for a take.

Yep. A "take" as in a single (unedited) shot. The ending of Casino Royale (2006) actually cuts back and forth between Bond and Mr. White and never gets beyond 30s I think.
You can time the shower scene if you don't believe it. ;)

Whoa, now I really can't believe I'd never caught that before. John Barry referencing part of somebody else's James Bond score. Now I've heard everything!

Another reason why he's the maestro.

Patterns are already starting to show up.

So far, every Glen directed entry has a longest take of roughly 40 seconds, albeit having 2 different editors throughout those films.
    (Davies- OP/AVTAK/TLD and Grover- FYEO/TLD/LTK)

QoS is situated beautifully at the bottom with the shortest single shot. We always discuss QoS's takes being very short but now we have some numbers to back it up aswell!

Wow. Many of you won't be interested but TMWTGG dethroned Skyfall by 2s (102.5s) with the longest take, so far, of the entire franchise. Lots of dialogue in the scene and some good camera work with the actors pacing back and forth. Cool.

I've typed it out above. But it's not the dinner scene. The long take is of Bond 'interrogating' the belly dancer at her dressing room, near the beginning of the movie around 15 minutes in.

Hey, just wanted to remind everyone that some help would be greatly appreciated. Jason006 has been kind enough to do a few but we've just completed 21 Bond films to-date. I hope to finish this stats page towards the end of May (we started back in March!) and since many of you watch Bond films regularly, and the task isn't hard, I'd like some more ppl to join. To make life easier, here is a list of the films that still need to be done (w/ notation):

    FRWL/GF/DAD
But just because we're planning on doing one (e.g DAD), it doesn't mean that you can't do it first.
If you have any questions regarding the "rules" then don't hesitate to ask! ;)

The janitor whistles it at Draco's headquarters. It's that or "Moon River".

Here's a poor quality video, but you may recall the scene.

I understand the 79.5s for SPECTRE's opening, but it would still be interesting to call out the four pieces and lengths making up the "continuous" shot.

Yeah, I was going to mention that with an asterisk, but I figured that it wasn't worth noting in the end. I mean, we all know it isn't 1 take and I like the fact that the SP opening shot is the longest too. Still makes it unique.

Btw folks, I'm also going to add some more stats once each film has been done. Things like: # of Bond girls featured (/24 films), # bed scenes, # Bond or villain appearances etc. I realized quite early on that the bed scenes are extremely common to be the longest takes and also that Bond was almost always talking in every take. So far he's been in all but 2 longest takes and only 3 where he was present but didn't talk.

@BondJasonBond006 So you recently watched DAD? Any take that stood out? I can go back and time it quickly.

    Skyfall animals:

before you see the lion in Mallory's office, you can see a stallion statue in the background when M enters.
On a box in Bond's hotel room, when Eve enters (it looks like a Mahjong box) there's a crane depicted.

Just to make the lists complete ;-)

Before it's lost in the shuffle I want to post the roll-up of forklift/ground conveyor appearances from conversation with @Qbranch and @Fire_and_Ice_Returns ("Doing anything nice for the weekend, Sir ?"). Discussion began with Tomorrow Never Dies, Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice.

My resource is IMCDB which calls out forklifts and ground conveyors, a term I wasn't familiar with. For completeness I've include them all below, the ones without forks are identified.

    DYMO Label Maker.

Dymo Industries, Inc. founded 1958 to produce handheld label makers using embossed plastic tape. By the 90s battery-powered printers came into play. Owned by Newell Rubbermaid since 2005.
    f52051201881902d38bf30d672291ac8.jpg

An invaluable piece of technology and Western culture. Here's what I found in the Bond films.
    Early Connery. Minus labels.

Goldfinger. Bond mania truly takes off, with DYMO labels an important part of that.
    James-Bond-DB5-ejection-seat.jpg
    6bbd8deddb23c389f28d9dd37af7d195--aston-martin-db-bond-cars.jpg
    170126122906-james-bond-car-switches-780x439.jpg

Thunderball. No labels found, but also notice the absence of labels when OO7 opens the same control panel of his Aston Martin DB5 (the motorcycle rocket action scene). Apparently he had instructions to memorize what each switch did after Goldfinger, sans labels.

You Only Live Twice. A colorful flourish.
    hqdefault.jpg

The in between years, the franchise juggles Bond actors and styles and risks losing its way. Not least evidenced by the omission of DYMO labels.

The Spy Who Loved Me. The welcome return in the opening moments.
    38924aab89257111ff0d0a2996d500fc.jpg

Moonraker. Could have used more, but this was good.
    22491737081_de002b2e76_b.jpg

Moore films of the 80s. Didn't find any.

The Living Daylights. A proper effort to establish a new Bond, includes DYMO labels.
Licence to Kill. What happened? To the DYMO labels, I mean.

The Brosnan years. Didn't find examples of DYMO labels here, gadget functions are either built into the displays or given flashy (and unnecessary) custom labels. Even for Tomorrow Never Dies, especially, a surprising omission of labels here.

The Craig tenure continued the unexplainable dearth of DYMO labels, either by accident or by design. But thankfully it couldn't last forever.

Spectre. The welcome return of DYMO labels.
    CSK_13421_0019.jpg

    wgZvFYP.png

BOND 25 demands following formula stricture for this important element.

Of course additional DYMO label sightings are welcome here.
