Thanks @goldenswissroyale great round, surprised myself I’ve managed to get it! I’ll have a think for a new one.

New round - all three films have something in common, but one is the odd one out

    DAF, MR, SP

New round - all three films have something in common, but one is the odd one out

    DAF, MR, SP

All films feature outer space elements (satellite in DAF, space shuttle/space station in MR, and the meteorite in SP), but unlike DAF/MR, SP doesn't feature any outer space footage.

That’s not what I’m looking for but thanks for getting things started!

DAF Moneypenny is out of the office
MR Moneypenny is seen out of office in Brazil
SP Moneypenny is seen out of the office.

MR is OOO as Moneypenny is seen in a foreign land.

Again a good idea but not the right answer, I’ll drop a clue tomorrow if no-one gets close.

MR and SP Bond is given a gadget watch. DAF he has other gadgets. Therefore DAF is OOO since he isn't given a watch as a gadget.

It’s not that either. The connection does involve Bond and certain scenes in the film as a small clue to start with.

DAF Bond wears a white dinner jacket
MR Bond wears a black Tux
SP Bond wears a white dinner jacket

    Therefore MR is OOO

It’s nothing to do with what Bond wears, sorry. Focus more on what he’s doing, perhaps?

Okay, since it seems to be just me guessing. Maybe I shall reflect and try again. I am sure others will chime in.

In DAF and SP, Bond is in a car chase. In MR he’s not? 🤔

    Here goes another wild stab.

DAF Bond is seen parachuting (inside a silver ball) out of a plane
MR Bond is pushed out of a plane without a parachute
SP Bond is seem parachuting out of a car.

Therefore SP is OOO since he is parachuting out of a car and not a plane?
  • QBranchQBranch Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.

In all three films, we have Bond observing baddie's coffins, but only in DAF does Bond appear in one.

All good attempts but not right yet. You’ll need to also consider what Bond says, or doesn’t say ...🤞

Sorry that I didn't participate lately. I don't have a good idea so far. But could there be a phrase about “your father“ in all three?

Not that sorry. Hmm ... think about any encounters Bond has in each film, perhaps something will spark an idea. Shout if you need more clues.

    Lets see,

DAF Bond is pretending he has a "brudder"
MR Bond doesn't mention a brother
SP Bond is a brother to Blofeld

Therefore MR is odd one out as Bond doesn't have a family angle within the story.

I’m sorry it’s not that either. Trying not to give the game away, but it’s got something to do with who Bond meets in each film - look for something in common with who Bond is meeting - then think about why one of those scenes is the odd one out.

Bond meets Tiffany Case pretending to be a diamond smuggler
Bond meets Holly Goodhead as a secret agent
Bond meets Swann pretending to be a patient of her clinic.

MR is ooo has Bond doesn't have a cover when meeting the female lead of the film.

Bond meets a Butler (Cavendish) of Drax and a Butler of Blofeld in SP. When I remember it right, there is a Butler when Bond and M are informed about diamonds but this Butler doesn't work for the villain. Therefore, DAF is the ooo...(?)

Neither of those, but @goldenswissroyale has the right idea by focusing on very niche characters that Bond comes across, pretty sure none of the characters you are looking for has a name, probably not even credited anywhere! 🤞

MR is the ooo. Bond doesn't talk to the rats in the laboratory in MR while he talks to the rat in DAF and to the mouse in SP.
The rodent in DAF and the one in SP run away, the ones in MR can't. They are in a cage.

Bond interacts with Dr. Metz in DAF, Dr. Goodhead in MR. In SP there is a Dr. Vogel but Bond doesn't interact with her, therefore SP is OOO

That’s the one! Bond has a witty little chat with little furry rodents in DAF and SP, but unfortunately he doesn’t get to say hello to the lab rats in MR. Congratulations to @goldenswissroyale and commiserations to everyone else for your excellent guesswork 👍

    Here is the next round:
    FYEO, TWINE, QOS

Women seeking revenge. TWINE the odd one out, as she is the villain.

    Going with a long shot...

FYEO Electra is mentioned by Melina
TWINE Electra is a character in the movie
QOS I don't recall Electra being referenced.

Therefore QOS is OOO since there is no reference to Electra
