@ConnerysCousin, please explain the purpose of this thread. Thank you.

As far as I understand it, we are to choose the one of the three that doesn't belong, to which I'll guess M as she/he has nothing to do with QBranch/gadgetry like Q and R. It would have helped to, oh, I dunno, get an explanation as to what the purpose of all this was in the opening post.

    R, not an official designation.

This could be a variant of the trivia question thread but the opening example is far too vague since there are many possible answers. A good 'odd one out' question should only have one correct answer.

    Sorry guys.
I meant to say, choose the odd one out from the three choices.

@Birdleson gave an answer a few posts up, and is the only answer I think of.

Oh, well, that makes much more sense...

It was actually M, because Q and R were both the gadget guys and M was the higher-up.

But I'll give a bonus mark to @Birdleson.

I answered correctly too. The fix is in, I say! @chrisisall, how about we introduce @ConnerysCousin to our mutual friend and get our revenge?

It's clearly License To Kill, since none of its actors starred in the pilot episode of Hawaii Five-O.

Plus you've misspelled Licence, so the other two are real films.

@Q_Branch of course - a member of MI6 Community's Triumvirate. Let's just hope that we stay clear of Rome... ;)

Man, beats my guess. I'd have said the period you put at the end of In Like Flint. ;)

It is the 0. Double and seven have two syllables.
No, just thunderfingering you. You are correct.

Thank you, I've never been Thunderfingered before. ;)

Judi Dench, Bernard Lee, Ralph Fiennes. ?

In case there might be many odd one outs, there is a reason I'm thinking of.
