    Bond and M and Q are in Scotland in TSWLM (naval base) and also in TWINE (castle). YOLT doesn't play in Scotland but they filmed there, too (plane explosion...)
    Therefore, YOLT should be the ooo?

    Sorry @goldenswissroyale that's not it.
    Think of a location/s that are out of the norm, and then try and figure out someone at that location who's seen in a different way, the likes of which another character in the same film shares with them. ;)

    Okay lets help the bump and give a wild guess.

    YOLT briefing takes place on a submarine
    TSWLM briefing takes on the naval base, with an M who isn't yet an M
    TWINE briefing takes place in a castle with 2 M's present One is a painting the other a living person.

    Therefore YOLT is the odd one out as it has M as M the other two have a quirk involving M.

    Methinks you are setting me up on a tee but it can't be that obvious can it?

    Here it goes:

    YOLT Bond is seen at the briefing in his naval uniform
    TSWLM Bond is seen at the briefing in his naval uniform
    TWINE Bond is seen at the briefing in civilian clothes

    Therefore TWINE is odd one out.

    No it's not quite that obvious.
    But if you look back through the clues, it might help.

    Something to do with Q and his shorts maybe? Say, Q is out-of-London with Bond in each film - YOLT Japan, TSWLM Sardinia and TWINE Scotland. YOLT OOO as he wears his usual suit and tie in the others.

    However the connection is not Q.

    YOLT in Japan and both Bond and M wearing uniforms
    TSWLM in Sardina Bond in Tux M is in suit
    TWINE in Scotland Bond is in Black suit and M is in skirt

    YOLT is out as it's the only one with Bond and M in a uniform?

    I'm going to give it to you @the dove.

    I was actually looking for all the films feature M's office in a different location.
    But the odd one out is that M appears in shorts in his naval uniform scenes in YOLT.
    The only time we see him in uniform or shorts. Q also appears in shorts in YOLT.

    To start a not so smart try:
    Sinking ship after the title sequence twice but not in DAF. There we have a final scene on a cruising ship instead. This leads to DAF as the ooo.

    All three end on a boat/ship.
    However TND ends on the wreckage of a ship, and is therefore the odd one out?

    Another good guess and if I am being truthful one angle that I had considered. But I went in a different direction. It has nothing to do with water or boats.

    Q appears in all three. In DAF and FYEO he's shown at both the Q Branch workshop and in the field.

    In TND he's only shown in the field, so that's the odd one out.

    2nd try. Moneypenny appears in DAF, FYEO, TND.

    FYEO is the one where she's only shown at the MI6 main office. So that's the odd one out.

    You were closer with Q. Although you could combine Q and Moneypenny and strike another answer that I will accept.

    Nice guess @Torgeirtrap you are right in that the odd one out does involve Q. You actually even have the right film as odd one out, but there is another thing I am thinking of.

    I have another one: only in DAF does Q use a gadget of his own (that thingy he uses on the slot machines)
