If Bond were to be concerned with his tie at Fukushima, he would be the biggest moron of all time.

well thats one way of looking at it. a bit dry though.
i rather look at it as a metaphor, as it's just a cover and they are mostly just metaphors or symbolic, and in this Bond is not someone whos afraid of great danger or even sacrificing his life to save others, and make sure to look damn good while doing it.

Hold the presses! Time to save more money. Now it's official, by confirmation of Dynamite Comics :-). The 'first' Ian Fleming adaptation of James Bond will appear in the fourth quarter of this year (between October and December). And the first comic book will be "Casino Royale". The omnibus version (like the original James Bond comic books from Dynamite) will have 176 pages:

Hey guys. Is there any further confirmation/news on the above?

    Nope.

And additionally, had they have planned to release it in the fourth quarter of this year, we would've known by now and they would have announced it. I always knew Casino Royale wasn't for this year.

    May 28, 2018. Fleming's 110th Anniversary. That's my prediction.

That said there will be some news about an "new series of "the Shadow" next month, nothing big coming from the 007 series.

Big? No. But new entries? There are plenty coming from the 007 series. Plenty.

Big enough for me. Imagine, if Dynamite keeps their Release schedule up, then in 2-3 years from now, when the next Bond Movie hits, Dynamite will have published more Bond comics than there have been before

I'd certainly call it a big deal when, for the first time in decades, or really ever, Bond is having a ton of inter-connected stories by tons of different artists and writers releasing all in sequence, including adaptions of the Fleming books and stories of Bond's wartime days.

That Felix comic has amazing art, possibly the best realized yet. Extremely dynamic and really clever.

I don't know about Service. I was cringing through some of the writing, especially the talk Bond and Moneypenny have.

After Felix Leiter, it's Moneypenny's turn to get her own mini-series :

I very much welcome this news. Love what Dynamite did in opening up the Bond world with Felix Leiter, can't wait to see what they do with Moneypenny.
