    the title sequence is among the least impressive of Binder's. This was the final instalment of what is the fallow period of his work. The opening horn blasts at the start of the title track are inviting though!

    Why did Kilifer drop by Felix's place at the wedding? I realise plot wise it's so his death at the hands of Bond has some resonance but practically he's got a lot on his plate!

    Davi plays Sanchez so cool in the scenes with the authorities and in the prisoner transport truck.

    Love how Dalton plays the scene where Della throws him the garter. It's still painful, but deep down and he has the smile where he knows they're trying to be loving but stepping in it a little.

    Seeing as they landed a chopper to collect Felix from his wedding to capture Sanchez seems a little weird to not tell him even hours after Sanchez's escape.

    Felix getting fed to the Sharks is always brutal. Davi shines in this scene. Does so much with so little. Good to see how unsettled Krest, Kilifer and the security guards are while it's amusing, business as usual for Sanchez, Dario and Perez.

    Dalton's long mocked 'Della' line is always worth a smile, but at least he doesn't loom over dead females as awkwardly as Brosnan does. I like Bond giving himself a calming breath to confront what he thinks will be the corpse of Felix.

    Love the subtle underwater feeling to the music with bond theme woven in as Bond sneaks into the warehouse. Kamen does great work here. Feels very Bondian.

    Get the Dr No vibes from sharkey when bond asks him how long it will take to get to the cay sail bay and he says 'maybe about six hours'. sounds like quarrel.

    They have to make Krest drunk - otherwise he would have to be insane to go near Lupe after how Sanchez reacted to threats to his romance with her.

    Really miss underwater Bond.

    It feels like TND is the last Bond film with a real underwater location. I know TWINE has underwater finale but that's pretty much set only in the submarine.

    Bond theme performed by light strings as Bond creeps into Krest's quarters.

    "Make a sound and you're dead."

    I think this is Lupe's best scene. The way she calmly says 'he doesn't tell me anything" after bond puts the knife even closer to her neck is stone cold. As if she has dealt with this stuff many times before with Sanchez.

    The harpoon into seaplane float then pulled out of danger into waterskiing with the Bond theme, then over taking the plane is pure inventive joy. Love it. The sound mix is really good here between music and foley work. Like the sound of Bond's feet dragging in water then sounding like a record scratch as they touch the water once or twice more as the plane gains altitude.

    Man, what a sequence. Really is one of my favourites in the series.

    Love that Bond now has a mass of cash at his disposal.

    Carey Lowell has some awkward moments in her first few scenes on screen - but I do like her admonishing disapproval at bond's insignificant looking Walther.
