The always-fantastic Max von Sydow. A shame he's so underutilized in the film. Not too sure how you manage to waste someone like him.

Fatima's intro is great. There's an air of villainy to her.

    Best behaved Blofeld cat?

I really like Max von Sydow, but feel like his Blofeld is lackluster.

Blofeld's suit looks like something Les Nesman on WKRP in Cincinnati would wear.

Tears of Allah has a tinge of Indy to it. The influence of the time perhaps.

    I love the Schrublands scenes.

I enjoy Fatima apart from her final scene, she is great. I know others like Largo here, but I find him painful to watch.

LOL these Shrublands scenes are so good.

    Prunella Gee is pretty hot.

Connery of course is the best part of NSNA. So far great in every part.

I used to dislike them before but now I agree. This whole section of the film is first class.

Can you remember which Vodka Bond has coming up here?

Bond and his stash of quality food, having no intention of cutting out those free radicals.

What a great supply kit... quails eggs, vodka, caviar in a suitcase!

The Largos are so different it's like comparing Zorin to Dr No.

Hard to pick the better Largo. Brander is the better actor, and ads a lot of nice subtleties to the role, but Celi looks the part , and has the air of a broader, more traditional, Bondian villain.
They are very different, but I like them both equally. Brandauer is more psychologically deranged, but as you said, Celi is a brute.

This is probably Barabara Carrera's best performance

I love his discovery and reaction to that.

Never really understood this part. It's like Bond accidentally revealed himself, but it's clear he intentionally pulled the string. Was it an accident that he let it go?

She has such a domineering presence, really commands the scenes she's in.

Do agree that Connery looks his best as Bond here since TB?

Definitely. He looks perfect in his first four and pretty good here.

He's just clumsy. No wonder M sent him there to get straightened out.

I've grown to love this sequence in it's weirdness. Connery makes some of the strangest facial expressions and the ending is just baffling, but there are great comedic bits throughout.
